If a science fiction novel wants to stand out from many works, it is important to have a sense of prophecy or criticism, and Mr. Xie Yunning's work "Crossing the Rings of Saturn", which won the gold medal of the 12th Chinese Science Fiction Nebula Award, the highest award for Chinese science fiction, is such a work.

The work tells the story of the protagonist's fading brain hole, so big that he wants to chase a comet and put it into practice. When an accident occurs in the spaceship he is on, he is ejected from the capsule and begins to float aimlessly through space. The accidents of life ensued, the rebellion was separated, no one rescued, and the survival supplies were exhausted... In a world devoid of human emotions, he became a lonely forgotten asteroid. Later, with the help of the intelligent AI Doris on the Saturn probe, she managed to survive on Enceladus, and was later rescued by the rescue team. In the novel, the author uses multidisciplinary science fiction thinking to construct a virtual world that allows the reader to enter a strong sense, gradually leaving the protagonist in it, allowing him to rise, fall, fear, rejoice, torture, and live to death... Various plots depict the protagonist's self-salvation.

The type of science fiction of space adventure is often representative of hardcore science fiction, which often seems a little cold and does not feel warm enough to read. However, the author's "Crossing the Earth Planet" is full of warmth, making people feel the warmth of humanistic care. The most impressive is the intelligent AI Doris in the Saturn probe. The existence of "she" is even more empathetic than the protagonist's gradual departure, and even the existence value is greater than that of the protagonist. Although Doris is not human, she is full of humanity throughout the book, and is a "radiant" existence. In particular, Doris crashed into Saturn with the Saturn probe, and the separation from the road and the maker of "her" should be able to earn enough tears from the reader.

Literature, in the final analysis, is anthropology, and it describes human nature. This work of Mr. Xie Yunning brings us a romantic dream - the dream of Saturn's ring journey. This dream tells us that when the lifeless world is endowed with human emotions, even a thousand years of solid ice will be melted, and the courage to give the mortal to be reborn can be given!

The essence of the novel is fiction, and no matter how realistic it is, its way is fictional. What is difficult for us to imagine can be achieved through the writing of a novelist. After reading Mr. Xie Yuanning's work, my greatest wish is to also take a trip to Saturn's rings!
