IT House learned that in May 2021, the USB-F Association announced a new fast charging standard, USB PD3.1. The new standard adds extended power range (EPR) that increases charging power from PD3.0 up to 100W to up to 240W.

After supporting 135W power supply, some lenovo high-performance thin and light books equipped with RTX 3050 series graphics cards and thin and light game books may cancel the traditional square port charging interface, and users only need to bring a USB charger when they go out. USB-C chargers that support 240W power are likely to be available later next year, when a large number of high-performance games could have moved away from the traditional power interface.

Earlier, Flash Pole released its first PD 3.1 protocol charger, single port up to 140W, equipped with two USB-C interfaces and a USB-A interface, the first 399 yuan.
