Professor Dou Wanxing loves public welfare undertakings and founded the city's first public welfare calligraphy and painting lecture hall--- "Wanxing Public Welfare Lecture Hall". The lecture hall adheres to the educational concept of "let art serve the people and let art light up the lives of the people", so that the flower of art can bloom and bloom among the people. As the founder and lecturer of the Calligraphy and Painting Public Welfare Lecture Hall, Professor Dou Wanxing insisted on serving the grassroots, selfless dedication, and disseminating art, which was strongly welcomed and recognized by the people.
Professor Dou Wanxing was also the first person in China to write the Constitution of the Communist Party of China in seal letters. The calligraphy work is in the form of a seal book, with a six-foot vertical frame, a total of 151 pieces, more than 20,000 words, which took two years to complete. The calligraphy work "Constitution of the Communist Party of China" uses its unique art form to carry forward traditional Chinese culture, publicize the party's line, principles and policies, and achieve the purpose of "cultural self-confidence and cultural innovation".
In 2019 and 2020, Professor Dou Wanxing organized and curated the "Farmers' Art Festival" and "Farmers' Harvest Festival" in Tongzhou District, Beijing, and successfully introduced cultural and artistic elements such as calligraphy and painting, poetry and poetry, photography, intangible cultural heritage and handicraft production and performing arts, so that the "Farmers' Art Festival" and "Farmers' Harvest Festival" were more novel, richer in content, more extensive in influence, and more loved by farmers.
