According to The Verge, these improvements stem from two key changes. One is the use of deuterium in the chemical composition of the LG OLED panel, and the other is the combination of algorithmic image processing. LG says the latter will predict the usage of each LED in your TV based on your individual viewing habits, thereby "precisely controlling the display to more accurately express the details and colors of the video content being played." ”
