Although there are many problems with the technical turn of literary criticism, this is not a reason for us to deny it, and this turn should be viewed dialectically, both to draw on its rationality and to find a way to solve the problem. In fact, these problems are all manifestations of the contradictory relationship between "humanistic culture" and "scientific culture". From the 1950s and 1960s to the proposition of the conflict between the humanities and the sciences, this dualistic and opposing thinking has never been effectively reconciled. Much of the controversy over the technicalization of literary criticism is also related to this. If we can get rid of this polarized thinking, take literary big data and literary computing as the basis and method for verifying literary humanistic thought, enrich the spiritual value of literary big data and literary computing with humanistic thought, and realize the dialogue and integration of the two, then the technical transformation of literary criticism will have an infinitely beautiful future.
