The concert was conducted by Lin Daye, music director and chief conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and specially invited the famous soprano Singer Guo Sen, the young soprano Li Dan, the young baritone Gao Yupeng and the outstanding young singers in Gansu Province to perform together with the Lanzhou Symphony Orchestra, the Lanzhou Concert Hall Choir, and the Northwest Normal University Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra and Choir.

The opening song "You are Lanzhou" once again looked back fondly at the "epidemic" picture of the Jincheng War and sang the surging strength of the people of Lanzhou to fight the epidemic together. "Ode to the Red Flag", "We", "Long Live the People" and other exciting songs were staged one after another, and the applause in the field was thunderous. It is worth mentioning that this concert also brought the symphonic choral suite "Ode to Nanliang" originally produced by the Lanzhou Grand Theatre, which was also the first time that the work was first met with the Lanzhou audience after the premiere of the work at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing at the end of September.

The symphonic chorus suite "Ode to Nanliang" consists of eight movements, consisting of a mixed chorus, a male chorus, a female solo and chorus, and a baritone solo. The music fully absorbs the longdong (Qingyang) folk song materials such as "Our Leader Mao Zedong", "Embroidered Golden Plaque", "Ten Songs in the Border Area", "Frozen Ice", "Five More Moons" and so on, and praises the spirit of Nanliang from today's historical perspective with the tone of atmosphere, high pitch, clarity, stretching and humor, and praises the spirit of Nanliang from today's historical perspective, or sonorous and powerful, or brisk and cheerful, perfectly interpreting the spirit of Nanliang.
