World War II was the largest war in human history. In total, more than 100 million soldiers were mobilized in this war, and almost all of the country's resources were spent on the war. For example, after Japan launched the war of aggression against China, it instigated the whole people to participate in the war at home, and also launched a war of aggression against some Asian countries other than China in order to obtain the materials needed for continuous aggressive activities in China.
Faced with this situation, many Axis nationals who did not want to go to war were also forced to be conscripted into the army, and Jacob Nacken was such a person.

Nakon was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, on 15 February 1906, to parents both 1.8 meters tall, so Nakon and his siblings were also tall. Nakon is 2.21 meters tall, his older brother is 2.01 meters tall, his younger brother William is 1.93 meters tall, and even his sister Josephine is 1.88 meters tall. Because he grew too tall, Nakon often accidentally hit the door, and there were always several bruises on his face.
Due to his "extraordinary talent", Naken simply joined the German circus tour and began his acting career. He played "Uranus" and "Rhineland Giant" in the performance, and was considered by the audience to be the tallest man in Germany, and some considered him to be the tallest man in the world at that time.
In 1922, Nakon "showed his skills" in the Paris amusement park Luna Park and became a "star". Five years later, Nakon and his wife got married and the two lived happily ever after.
However, after the outbreak of war, Nakon was forced to enlist in the army and became the highest soldier in the German army. He was basically not involved in the front line, but only engaged in propaganda and other work in the rear, like the "façade" of the German army.
In August 1944, Naken was incorporated into an artillery group and later captured in Calais, France, with 250 soldiers. Their captors were Canadian corporal Eldon Bob Roberts, who was much shorter than the tall, burly Narkon, who was only 1.60 meters tall. Therefore, when the two stood together, a dramatic "height difference" effect was formed, which caused the surrounding captives to laugh. The scene was intriguing by the war photographers who accompanied the army, and the interaction between the two of them was recorded by grabbing a camera, and these photos became iconic photos in World War II.
Later, Nakon was taken to England as a prisoner of war and was not released until the end of the war. With no intention of returning to Germany, Nakon, who had regained his freedom, defected to his sister, who lived in the United States, and immigrated to the United States with his wife.
Nakon returned to his old business and began to appear frequently in various performances and television shows, and also played the role of Santa Claus, where children drilled between his legs, hip-hoping, and called him "the tallest Santa Claus in the world".
