"Five Golden Flowers" plays a happy song for rural revitalization

author:China Youth Network

Weishui Yangyang, Qinling Cangcang. In the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains, the land of Eastern Qin is pregnant with a group of industrious "Yellow River daughters" in the beautiful waters of the Ling mountains. Like Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou, who cordially met Zhang Qiuxiang, who was a cotton expert, they never bowed to fate with a simple and kind nature, and since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the guidance of the local government and women's federation organizations, they have continuously innovated and developed, leading the villagers to get rid of poverty and get rich together.

Inheriting the spirit of Zhang Qiuxiang's "silver flower" that never fades, the "five golden flowers" have once again come to the land of Weinan and contributed to the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization.

Chen Chunmiao, the "Qiao Niang Straw Weaver," led the women to weave a good life

Just after the heavy snow festival, in the operation workshop of the Qiaoniang Straw Weaving Handicraft Professional Cooperative in a resettlement community in Qiaonan Town, Linwei District, several peasant women were skillfully "braiding".

"Braiding" is a traditional handicraft popularized in the local area - the basis of straw weaving, with a history of hundreds of years, mainly using wheat straw, corn husks and other natural materials, hand-woven into the shape of braids, and then processed into straw hats, straw rings, storage baskets and other production of daily necessities.

"We have high ditches and deep ditches here, and the transportation is inconvenient, and the biggest advantage of 'Qiao Niang Straw Weaving' is to allow rural women to achieve 'risk-free, zero cost' employment at home, cooperative order distribution, unified collection and sale, and now basically reach 'villages and villages are factories, households are workshops, and every family has Qiao Niang'."

Chen Chunmiao, chairman of the board, told the China Women's Daily all-media reporter: "The reason for the establishment of this cooperative was that if more people joined in, everyone could earn money at the doorstep of their homes. ”

Sister-in-law Cheng of the Yancun Dasi Group in Qiaonan Town, after the family change, she and her son are dependent on each other, and their lives are very poor. After Chen Chunmiao learned of the situation, he personally went to teach her the art of straw weaving and signed a long-term acquisition contract with her, and now, Cheng Sister-in-law has become one of the backbone teachers of the cooperative, with a monthly income of about 3,000 yuan.

Nowadays, the "Qiao Niang Straw Weaving" professional cooperative has solved the employment problem of more than 2,000 people from more than 300 poor households in the form of "branch leadership, enterprise undertaking, poor household participation, and guaranteed dividends", so that the masses can rely on manual technology to achieve poverty alleviation at the doorstep of their homes.

"E-commerce master" Wang Zhenyang let agricultural products plug into the wings of the Internet

Engaged in building materials, selling fertilizers, doing e-commerce sales of agricultural products, and starting a business to get rich, Wang Zhenyang, who is in his early 50s, seems to be stepping on the idea every step.

Wang Zhen, who graduated from high school, taught and did small business with relatives. Until 2000, she began to start a hardware and building materials business in the local area, and "dug the first pot of gold in her life".

In 2008, Wang Zhenyang, who had funds in his hands, opened the first agricultural chain store in the street, "earning hundreds of thousands of yuan a year."

In 2014, Wang Zhenyang, who saw that people often shopped online in the surrounding area, thought about how to use the Internet to sell agricultural specialties in his hometown.

After a year or two of study and exploration, in 2016, Wang Zhenyang registered and established the "Shaanxi Hengran Four Seasons Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd." and "Yuanshangyuan" agricultural product trademarks.

Since then, dozens of green agricultural products such as native eggs, kiwifruit, peppercorns, walnuts, honey, persimmon vinegar, and straw weaving produced in the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains have begun to be sold throughout the country after unified packaging, with sales of more than 3.1 million yuan in 2017.

In order to better develop e-commerce, Wang Zhenyang has joined hands with the District Agricultural and Guangdong School to train 116 professional farmers free of charge and issue professional farmer certificates. Free e-commerce training was conducted for two offices in 14 towns in the district, benefiting more than 900 people. Adopt the technical trusteeship form of "enterprise + base + poor households", and provide 330 mu of walnuts and peppercorns for 67 poor households in Qinyang Village, Qiaonan Town, providing "one-stop" services and "zero risk" benefits for the whole chain of pesticide supply, technical trusteeship and product resale. Arrange jobs for Wei Nana, Wang Tiaotiao, Qin Qian and other 8 poor households and left-behind women, with an average monthly income of 2300 yuan per person...

In recent years, through the way of "party branch +", various agricultural and sideline products have been purchased from local industrial parks, cooperatives and poor households, and unified online and offline operation and sales have been carried out, forming a poverty alleviation and love sales matrix model of "physical offline + group purchase + e-commerce online + government + enterprise + farmer", effectively solving the "last kilometer" problem of sales for poor households, with sales of more than 40 million yuan.

"Walnut Queen" Zhang Xiqin: Small walnuts have become the "hard currency" of the masses to get rich

When I met Zhang Xiqin in the compound of Qianshun Company located in the south of Qiaonan Town, she had not been out for more than ten days when she was busy researching and developing new products.

Speaking of the sour, sweet and bitter in the process of entrepreneurship, Zhang Xiqin is full of emotions.

20 years ago, Zhang Xiqin, who married from Shanyang County in Shangluo City to Qiaonan Village, found that the traffic here was inconvenient, the information was blocked, and many natural Chinese medicinal materials were piled up in large quantities, and no one cared.

Therefore, Zhang Xiqin, who was looking at business opportunities, began to buy medicinal materials. In order to maximize the sale of Chinese medicinal materials in the Nanyuan Mountains and let the local farmers have more income, she almost ran all over the country's medicinal materials market, and finally opened up sales channels, selling about 600 tons of local medicinal materials every year, bringing economic benefits to the masses of tens of millions of yuan.

In 2013, the local government vigorously developed the walnut industry in the Nanyuan area, but a large number of walnuts were sold in the form of primary products, with low added value and low economic efficiency.

Zhang Xiqin, who has a unique vision, despite the opposition of her family and friends, resolutely invested more than 1 million yuan of her medicinal material savings into the construction of the walnut processing plant, but lost more than 200,000 yuan in the first year.

"As long as we persist and open the market, we will certainly enable the villagers to get rid of poverty and get rich through walnuts." The stubborn Zhang Xiqin never wanted to give up. On the one hand, she took the initiative to sign acquisition contracts with poor growers to provide jobs, on the other hand, she invested 5 million yuan to update the deep processing equipment, and with the listing of milk, five-spice and other secret roasted walnuts, the company gradually turned into a profit.

Nowadays, "Qianshun" has produced a series of products such as jujube walnut kernels, pretzel walnuts, creamy walnuts, walnut oil, etc., and has taken the first step of the Nanyuan walnut brand to go out of the mountains and realize the brand management.

"Left-behind mother" Zhang Fangling: Create a warm home for children

Picking up and dropping off your children from school every day, making beds, cleaning the environment, washing and cooking, tutoring homework, cultivating children's reading habits... For more than a decade, this has become a daily compulsory course for Zhang Fangling.

As the first wave of migrant workers in the village, she first took her sisters out of the mountains to work to earn money, and when she saw the problems faced by the left-behind children in her hometown, she called on the sisters to go home and manage the children.

In 2005, she resolutely quit her job outside, returned to her hometown, and used her savings from years of part-time work to rent a house to establish a left-behind children's home in Qiaonan Town.

For more than ten years, in order to improve the children's living environment, Zhang Fangling not only used all the grain in her ten acres of land to subsidize the left-behind children's home, but also borrowed more than 200,000 yuan to repair the school building, providing children with a safe and comfortable living and learning environment, psychological comfort and counseling. So far, more than 4,000 left-behind children have completed primary school (junior high school) education here, of which nearly 50 left-behind children have successfully completed their university studies, and while the left-behind children's home has been recognized by the government and society, Zhang Fangling is also affectionately known as "left-behind mother" by the villagers.

"In 2010, after the school was hit by a fire, I suddenly lost from 166 pounds to 90 pounds, and I couldn't eat for a few days in bed!" Talking about the original intention and long-cherished wish of running a school, Zhang Fangling admitted that in fact, when it was the most difficult time, she also thought about giving up, but thanks to the support of women's federations at all levels and the attention of caring people from all walks of life, she persevered, as a teacher, she only wants more left-behind children to start from here and better integrate into society.

"Straw Hat Sister" Zhang Jing: A straw hat can also create "tall"

Like Chen Chunmiao, Zhang Jing, the "Straw Hat Sister", also has the dual identity of the leader of the cooperative and the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage straw weaving.

But what is different is that before 2013, she was a grassroots female cadre who had been fighting on the township agricultural and family planning fronts for half a lifetime.

"We have the habit of subsidizing our families with straw weaving, but they are all going it alone, lacking organization and scale. When the market is good, a braid can only sell for three dollars. It's hard work and you can't make money. As a result, Zhang Jing, who was close to retirement, had the idea of leading farmers to do straw weaving.

When she spoke her mind with great joy, she did not have the support of her family.

"At that time, I was just eating the scales and iron heart, no matter who dissuaded me, I must set up the cooperative!"

In 2014, Zhang Jing established the first local weaving cooperative, the Baifu Straw Weaving Cooperative, and at the beginning of its establishment, there were many doubts around. Is anyone willing to pay for it? How much does something made of grass sell for? In the face of these, Zhang Jing is clear that only by selling straw products at a good price will everyone's doubts be eliminated.

In order to encourage the villagers who are new to school, she recycled all the straw weaving out of her own pocket, a move that impressed many people.

"You see, this side is the straw hat wall, the first generation of products can be seen on the market, the second generation of products simply added some black edges, the third generation of products with wire knitting to do the top, increase breathability, the fourth generation of yarn decoration is very fashionable, the fifth generation is a side of the large brim hat, just knitted to be robbed!"

"The most incredible thing is this 'beggar hat', in an exhibition there was a foreigner who bought it for 100 yuan, and what was even more unexpected was that the young man who helped me do the sale said that similar hats can sell for 300 yuan on the Internet."

In the middle of winter, the cold is unexpected. The story of "Five Golden Flowers" is like a fiery furnace that warms people's hearts. "Beauty Weiqiao East, spring also matter silkworm work." Next spring, just like Li Baishi's "Mo Shang Sang", they will still shine on the countryside of rural revitalization and spit out the fragrance.
