As of 18:00 on December 26, Ho Chi Minh City had 544 new confirmed cases, 30 deaths, and a cumulative death rate of 19,000.

On the other hand, according to Fan Dehai, director of the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control in Ho Chi Minh City and Economic Recovery, as of December 23, 47 confirmed cases of confirmed cases on campus were found in 15 counties of Ho Chi Minh City, and the disposal of confirmed cases was carried out according to procedures, so parents were assured that their children would go to school. At present, students in the middle and high school graduating classes continue to resume classes as planned. In light of the results of the two-week pilot, the leadership of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will consider whether to arrange for other grades to return to school.
