According to reports, Ronin 4D is an integrated film-level shooting solution that integrates a cinema-grade imaging system, a four-axis gimbal system, a LiDAR laser focus system and a wireless image transmission control system, providing professional film and television teams, video studios and individual creators with easy-to-use creative tools and bringing a more efficient shooting experience.
The Ronin 4D is powered by DJI's latest full-frame flagship camera, the Zenmuse X9, and is available in X9-8K and X9-6K versions, with X9-8K supporting up to 8K/75fps specifications and X9-6K supporting up to 6K/60fps and 4K/120fps video recording. With DJI's self-developed image chip and new image processing platform CineCore 3.0, both X9 cameras can directly record Apple ProRes RAW / ProRes 422 HQ / H.264 video, bringing more post-production space for professional creation.
Ronin 4D is equipped with a four-axis gimbal system, adding a fourth axis to the traditional three-axis gimbal, embedding only the sensors and optical components necessary for imaging into the gimbal, completing the concept of combining a professional gimbal and a cinema-grade camera, while ensuring ultra-light weight, achieving the best stability and response performance of the Ruying series to date. In Sport mode, the camera can follow the photographer's rapid flick with almost zero error, and can also seamlessly switch between Sport mode and Stabilization Mode.
The DJI Ronin 4D uses a laser follow-up solution that projects 43,200 ranging points through a LiDAR rangefinder for a detection distance of up to 10 meters. The Ronin 4D is also equipped with a visual assisted focus system with a self-contained hand mode.
Ronin 4D adopts the new O3 Pro image transmission technology, the effective transmission distance of image transmission can reach up to 6 kilometers, and the DFS band is added to the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequency bands, and supports AES 256-bit encryption algorithm, which can output 1080p / 60fps Full HD screen to multiple image transmission highlight monitors at the same time, greatly improving security, stability and anti-interference capabilities.
