01 Beginnings

02 Surprise Attack
The first gunshot of the Hundred Regiments Battle rang out at Zhengtai Road.
On August 20, 1940, it was a rainy night, and the rain was pouring down and the ground was muddy, and the soldiers of the Chinese army set out.
They stepped on the water and marched quickly to the predetermined location of Zhengtai Road, where the searchlights of the Japanese stronghold were bright at night.
With the commander's order to attack, the warriors brazenly got up, jumped out, and the shouts of killing shook the earth and became the thunder of the rainy night.
The sudden attack naturally surprised the Japanese soldiers, who had just set up crane machine guns in the stronghold, and the soldiers had already burst into the bottom of the stronghold, and several grenades were thrown directly into the stronghold.
Only a loud bang was heard, and the gunfire inside the stronghold stopped.
However, Japanese soldiers from other strongholds heard the sound of gunfire and rushed to reinforcements.
They had only just popped their heads out when the bullets of the Chinese army arrived.
Along the Zhengtai Road, all the Japanese strongholds were already surrounded by warriors, and this battle was to completely remove these thorns.
For a time, war broke out throughout the Zhengtai Road.
Gunfire continued, and Japanese heavy machine guns became the top priority target for the fighters.
Grenades, mortars, explosive packs, the soldiers moved out of all their homes, and a large amount of heavy fire greeted the Japanese strongholds.
With a loud bang, the heavy machine guns in the stronghold were muted, but the stormtrooper was blown at this time.
All the warriors began to charge, and the surprise attack of Zhengtailu also came to an end.
The warriors roared in anger, raised their weapons in their hands, and engaged the enemy in a final battle.
As the sky slowly brightened, the Japanese soldiers fell in blood, and the soldiers began to clean up the battlefield, which was their victory.
03 Retreat
The joy of victory did not overwhelm the commander's mind, he knew that the Japanese reinforcements were already on the way.
Retreat, must retreat.
The warriors began to dismantle the railway and destroy the Zhengtai Road.
Before long, the entire railway was on the verge of shattering, and by the time the Japanese reinforcements arrived, the scene was a mess, their soldiers fell to the ground, and the railway and stronghold were destroyed.
And the soldiers of the Chinese army? It had already retreated cleanly, and there was no trace left.
The commanders of the Japanese army were furious, but what they did not know was that a greater war had begun, and whether they liked it or not, they would pay the price for all these years of aggression.
