Yangtze River Daily Wuhan Client, December 27 (Beijing correspondent Ke Li) The "Jiangtian Wanli - Yangtze River Culture Exhibition" jointly created by the National Museum of China and the China Three Gorges Group is being exhibited at the National Expo. The Yangtze River Daily reporter saw at this national-level cultural exhibition that a large number of cultural relics, historical materials, ancient paintings and old photos related to Wuhan, such as Wuhan Panlong City, Zhangzhidong Governor'e, and Hankou Kaibu, were all exhibited at the scene.
The reporter visited the cultural exhibition on December 26 and saw that there were many long scrolls of ancient paintings in the exhibition hall, and a considerable number of ancient paintings were more than 10 meters long, of which the "Yangtze River Map" of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the "Ten Thousand Mile Map of the Yangtze River", the "Detailed Map of the Southern Tour of Qianlong in the Sixteen Years", and the "Salt Well Map of Southern Yunnan" and many other cultural relics were all treasured by the National Museum and exhibited to the public for the first time in recent years.

The exhibition takes time as a clue, first showing the Neolithic Age, the dawn of civilization began to appear in the Yangtze River Basin, different archaeological cultures such as sparks of stars spread across both sides of the river: bone whistles and pottery spinning wheels in Hemudu, carbonized rice excavated from The Liangzhu Cultural Site in Zhejiang, stone carved human figures and carved symbols excavated from the Liulinxi Cultural Site in Zigui, Hubei Province, and gray pottery dings excavated from the Qujialing Cultural Site in Hubei Province. The Neolithic artifacts on display at the exhibition site show that the Yangtze River civilization has reached a very high level more than 5,000 years ago.

After entering the Bronze Age, the civilization of the Yangtze River Basin accelerated the development process, and the reporter saw at the exhibition: the copper axe (jiǎ), copper knives, stone axes and other cultural relics excavated from the ruins of Panlong City in Wuhan stood next to the bronze masks of the Sanxingdui site, the ruins of Wucheng in Jiangxi, and the sword of the Yue King, showing the brilliant Bashu cultural circle, the Chu cultural circle and the Wuyue cultural circle, and a Yangtze River civilization that integrated the cultures and diversity of the regions of the Yangtze River Basin has since taken shape.

Since the Qin and Han Dynasties, the Yangtze River civilization has entered a long "Silver Age", and representative cultural relics and historical materials from different periods from the Qin and Han Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties were exhibited on the spot. In modern times, important events such as Zhang Zhidong's supervision of E'e and the opening of Hankou have made the Yangtze River civilization open.
With the rise of the Yangtze River Economic Belt to a national strategy, The Yangtze River civilization has entered a golden age. Through cultural relics and historical materials and famous paintings, the scene showed the major events in the Yangtze River Basin since the founding of New China, including the construction of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge to make the Natural Graben change the way, the Three Gorges Project, GezhouBa and other hydropower projects, and the ecological and environmental protection of the Yangtze River Basin. A three-dimensional model of the Three Gorges Dam and the Three Gorges Ship Lift was also displayed at the site.

The exhibition is divided into five parts: "Crossing the Flow of Eternity", "Extending the Inheritance of Civilization", "Ancient and Modern", "Golden Waterway Through Kyushu", "Dajiang Anlan Monument", exhibiting more than 300 pieces/sets of cultural relics collected by the National Museum, Hubei Provincial Museum, Three Gorges Museum, etc., and through a large number of old photos and historical materials, comprehensively display the history of the Yangtze River, the grandeur of humanities, the beauty of ecology and the greatness of the project. The exhibition will run until March 2022.

Zhao Yong, curator of the National Museum, said: This is another important attempt by the National Museum to refine and display the spiritual identity of China's excellent traditional culture after large-scale cultural exhibitions such as Oracle, Dream of the Red Chamber, and Confucius.
