Speaking of the name Li Bi, I believe that nine times out of ten people may not be impressed by it, but it does not mean that this person is inactive. On the contrary, as a sage in the Middle Tang Dynasty, Li Bi made several decisions at key points in time, all of which saved the Tang Dynasty from danger, so that the Tang Dynasty after the Tang Dynasty can continue for a hundred years.

Li Bi lived in the Middle Tang Dynasty, and had already become famous during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, he was born into a famous family, and he also had his own opinions on political strategy, so he was very popular with Emperor Xuanzong, but when he was in the court, he was repeatedly framed by Yang Guozhong, and finally had to retreat into the mountains. This was the first time that Li Bi had been ostracized and fled the world, but it was not the last.
Later things I believe everyone also knows, the Anshi Rebellion broke out, Tang Xuanzong fled, and later in the place of Lingwu, Li Heng succeeded to the throne, and the history called Tang Suzong. Tang Suzong was well aware of Li Bi's talent, so he strongly asked him to go out of the mountain, and Li Bi did not live up to Tang Suzong's trust and actively advised him, and it was Li Bi's help at such a critical time that the Tang Dynasty could continue after the Anshi Rebellion. So, how did he do it?
First, militarily, Li Bi offered advice to Emperor Suzong of Tang, allowing Li Guangbi to hold on to Taiyuan, while Guo Ziyi's army was stationed between Chang'an and Fanyang. Therefore, Li Bi ordered Guo Ziyi to open a small passage so that the rebels could not take care of each other and were tired of running for their lives, and he also encouraged the soldiers, saying that An Lushan was just a group of bandits, they did not have mature combat skills, there was nothing to worry about, and told the generals defending the city to despise the enemy strategically and attach importance to the enemy tactically.
Finally, he proposed to Tang Suzong the strategy of taking Fan Yang first and then attacking the two capitals. In the early stages, these plans were well implemented, but in the later stages of the war, Tang Suzong insisted on going his own way, believing that the situation was very good, and it was not a big deal to take two capitals first. Li Bi knew that he could not persuade the emperor, so he took the initiative to request to leave the center of power and go into hiding again. As a result, after the victory of the war between the two capitals, Tang Suzong stagnated, and finally let some of the remnants of the Anshi Rebellion fail to be eliminated in time. However, it was precisely because of Li Bi's plan and strategy that the Anshi Rebellion was basically put down.

In the handling of some court issues, Li Bi also told Tang Suzong that first of all, he should treat Tang Xuanzong well, just like a normal son treats his father. In this way, it will set a good example for the people of the world and will not be criticized by the people. Moreover, on the issue of treating the crown prince, it was emphasized that Tang Suzong should give the prince more power and soldiers and horses, so as to create a favorable environment and conditions for the prince to establish meritorious service, so that there would be no many chaos in the succession to the throne.
Facts have proved that Li Bi himself is also very far-sighted, in the Middle and Tang Dynasties the whole society has been declining, if there are any more problems in the transfer of power, it will be even worse, and Li Bi's approach just put an end to this situation. During the second period of hermitage, Tang Xuanzong and Tang Suzong died one after another.
After Emperor Tang succeeded to the throne, because he cared about Li Bi's care and support for him when he was crown prince, he summoned him back to be an official, but Li Bi was still not welcomed by his colleagues, and was still excluded from the local government to become an official. However, Li Bi's political achievements are still very good. During the reign of Emperor Dezong, what troubled the emperor was no longer the Anshi Rebellion, but Tubo. Finally, Tang Dezong heeded Li Bi's advice and used the Huairou policy, which gradually led to the decline of the Tubo regime, which was originally in a favorable position. And this also became the biggest gift that Li Bi left to the Tang Dynasty in his last life.
Through the above description, it is not difficult for us to find that Li Bi's several decisions made by going out of the mountains saved the Tang Dynasty from danger, and several emperors trusted him, but politically he was still not welcomed by the ministers, and even excluded from becoming a local official.
In my opinion, there are two reasons. The first is that what Li Bi advocates is the old Zhuang way, emphasizing the rule of inaction and adopting a natural attitude towards the development of things. This is clearly not the same belief as the ministers who advocated Confucianism. Moreover, Li Bi's handling of interpersonal relationships is not very enthusiastic, and different beliefs coupled with a cold personality have caused him to be ostracized. The second is because Li Bi is too good. Even if Li Bi really had outstanding talents as an official in the same dynasty, which minister liked to be suppressed by his colleagues everywhere? Since you are more talented than real, and your colleagues are in the ascendant, then get you Li Bi to become an official in other places, this is always OK!
