My hometown of Haojiazhuang

In the middle foothills of the western Taihang Mountains, which stretches for thousands of miles, there is a village called Haojiazhuang. Haojiazhuang Village is a large village with a population of thousands, and according to Kao, it was inhabited as early as the Qin and Han Dynasties. Legend has it that in the Jin Dynasty, the Hu people migrated through this village. There is a seasonal river in the village, which is said to be called the Dadao River, which flows from north to south through the fork of Haojiazhuang and joins the Giant City Wen River. Haojiazhuang Village is built along the east and west sides of the river by the mountains.

Legend has it that a mare of a family surnamed Cao in the village gave birth to a dragon foal but did not report it to the officials to present it to the emperor, and was beheaded by the door. The escaped descendants merged with the surname Of Wang and changed their surname to Wang. With the meaning of "he", the local dialect "he" is homophonous with "Hao", so it is called Haojiazhuang. "The people of Haojiazhuang Village are surnamed Wang" should be due to this.

Haojiazhuang Wang's surname is divided into yuan shares, west shares, back shares, and lower shares. There are also Liu surnames, Hu surnames, Cai surnames, Zhao surnames, Qiu surnames, Zhang surnames, Liang surnames, Niu surnames and so on.

With the continuous increase of the population, the villagers gradually moved outward to the surrounding areas, and gradually formed satellite villages, such as: Dongyu, Huangshajian, Qiulin, Gaomiyuan, etc., all of which were moved out of the surname of Haojiazhuang Wang.

In ancient times, people chose water to live and walked along the river. River troughs connect villages, and people travel along the river troughs. When we were young, we got off the fork in the road and walked along the river trough all the way to the winding and stumbling through the foot-wide cobblestone road.

The cliff of Haojiazhuang

We did not dare to look up, and overhead were strange cliff rocks protruding a few meters, as if several large stones would fall at any time. The geology here is more drastic, and the exposed deformed cliffs are clearly a wave of ancient times, which makes people marvel at the power of nature.

The original appearance of the supply and marketing cooperatives in Haojiazhuang

This road is said to be five miles, it feels very long, people say this is the big five miles. Turn a few corners, cross a few cliffs, step over the gravel beach, walk up the dirt road, the earthen beams in front of you are like a curtain slowly opening - supply and marketing cooperatives, pavilions, gradually into view, all the way tired to the back, the kindness of the hometown swept in.

Haojiazhuang's provincial highway

Today, river troughs have become roads, mountain trails have been converted into roads, and city buses have reached here and beyond.

There is a street in the village, and it is the only street, so it has no name, and until now it is also called "front street" and "mile street". The whole street is paved with bluestone, and the adult donkey pedestrians walk, grinding the road like rows of bread, shining blue in the sun, like a jade belt wrapped around the waist of the west slope. This street is the main passage for the transportation of people and goods, its northern section is called Li Street, which gradually descends to connect with the River Trough Ancient Road, and is now the village committee and the new theater stage; its southern section is called Qianjie, and the end turns west and connects

In 2008, the street was still bluestone pavement

It connects other villages deep in the mountains, so it is called "West Head". This street used to be full of shops and people came and went very lively. The main ancient courtyard of the village and the largest temple, Shousheng Temple, as well as later schools, supply and marketing cooperatives are on this street, which is the commercial and cultural center of the village and the surrounding villages. Today, the streets and alleys are all cement hardened, the donkey mules and livestock have disappeared, the cage-headed camels have become cultural relics, and the rugged and convex bluestone pavement can no longer be seen, and the crisp and melodious rhythm of the donkey's hooves and the accompanying bells can no longer be heard. Industrialization has mercilessly covered the original ecological villages, leaving us with only nostalgia.

Shousheng Temple is located in Qianjie, sitting west and facing east, brick and wood structure, is a three-entry courtyard building. Due to its steep slope, the temple is divided into upper and lower courtyards. The temple gate is in the lower courtyard, with bell and drum towers on both sides, and two compartments with halls dedicated to the gods such as the Medicine King. In the lower courtyard, there are dragon and phoenix pine cypresses that are tall and tall, with deep roots, and are said to have been more than 500 years old.

Before the liberation of Shousheng Temple, incense was very popular, and there were monks stationed there. After liberation, supply and marketing cooperatives were built at the gates of the temple, and the lower courtyard became a place for supply and marketing cooperatives to pile up agricultural materials. It is the only material exchange and distribution center in the whole village and even the surrounding villages, from the plough rake to the small oil, salt, sauce and vinegar, pots and pans, tobacco, wine and sugar tea. In addition to buying with cash, villagers can also barter, for example, by exchanging their own eggs for purchases.

Supply and marketing cooperatives

The middle and upper courtyards were empty for a while, and the Hall of Yamawang had been used as a medicine shop, but later it was changed into a school, and the north gate of the temple was made a school gate. When I was a child, I once went into the temple to play, and I saw that there were murals on the walls, but the courtyard was ruined, empty and silent, and the mountain wind blew the pine trees, and I couldn't help but be afraid to stay for a long time.

Today, the supply and marketing cooperatives have been emptied of the building, leaving only the remains of shelves on the walls, as if there are still the wear marks on the place of the cloth thermos and the small talk between the salesmen and the villagers. The school has also moved to the newly built school site in Liyuanchang, where chalk cultivation is faintly visible on the blackboard of the classroom, and the sound of reading aloud with a strong rural accent echoes in the ears.

In the large temple, only two pine cedars remained, stubbornly sticking there, as if looking at the villagers outside or the family on the way home.

Dedicated to the Medicine King

A small niche on the side of the south wing enshrines a god, which is said to be the god of medicine, and incense is also continued, and from time to time, villagers come there to draw lots to ask for medicine, which is said to be very magical. Every year on April 28, during the temple fair, some villagers come here to burn incense and pay tribute.

White little home

There was a small courtyard in the middle of this street, and there was a family that lived in the past, the elder was a slender, white-skinned old man with a white beard on his chin, sparse white hair neatly arranged on the top of the oily head, slightly lame legs, carrying a cane, but the spirit was vigorous, and the temperament was extraordinary. The villagers called him Bai Xiao, a landlord in the village, and he was assigned to live here during the land reform. During the Cultural Revolution, villagers dragged him and his family down the street to criticize the fight. When I was a child, when I returned to my hometown, I encountered a criticism meeting, and the villagers gathered on the big stage of the pear garden, watching the pictures of the landlords exploiting the peasants hanging on the wall, and eating the bitter and sweet "chaff nest". Many people find it unpalatable, but I don't think it's hard to eat, because this is no longer pure "bran" noodles, which are mixed with grain noodles or jade noodles, and they are slightly sweet in the mouth. Just seeing a picture of my grandfather carrying a long-term worker made me feel bad. These are written in my diary and printed in my heart.

Above the landlord's house there is a regular courtyard, which is the second courtyard, which was distributed to the wang deshou family, the first secretary of the party branch of the village, during the land reform, and was also the office of the first village committee.

"100 Billion Yuantai"

"Hundred billion yuantai", this is the name of the villagers, how to write the specific literal, still do not understand. The building is located in the middle of this street belonging to Front Street. Most of the other buildings on this street are in line with the street level, and the street is opened, while the "100 billion yuan platform" building is flattened with its own courtyard, forming a two-entry courtyard front shop and backyard structure. The entire platform base is about 20 meters wide, about 1 meter 6 meters high from the street surface, and is made of large stones made of "one inch and three hammers" process. There are two shops on the pedestal, and the large green brick front wall opens two doors, corresponding to the two embedded steps of the "100 billion platform". Grey tile roofs, large stone carved heads (chí tóu) to pick out the eaves. The gate is open on the side of the shop, the bluestone slope zigzag turns, there is a pair of stone lions standing at the door, and the shop has a back door leading to the backyard. Entering the courtyard, there is a water cellar in the courtyard.

The backyard and heng kiln of the "100 billion yuantai"

The second courtyard is elevated, a large stone foundation, the main house is a horizontal cave, and the people in the village will read it horizontally into a mix, so it is called "mixed kiln". The kiln is divided into three rooms, which are typical of one light and two dark, the middle is a hall house, with a chuāng lǐn, a door stack, a single screen door, a folio wooden door; the left window should be the bedroom; the right door is a large opening to the wooden door like storing agricultural tools and debris. The entire door window is made of fine and large stone arches. On top of the kiln is a high room. The whole courtyard is staggered, exquisitely designed, and very imposing.

"100 billion yuantai" is located in the center of the whole street, the front street, the mile street is divided here, the upper and the river are connected here, its fame is not only well-known in the village, but also familiar to the surrounding neighboring villages.

The gate of the second-order courtyard

The second courtyard is a relatively peculiar courtyard built on the mountain. The main entrance is a high-pitched (xuàn) door, made of fine strips of stone, and the heavy wooden door creaks and creaks. Above the doorway is a small courtyard, and the houses in the courtyard are sitting on the doorway, so it is called a high house. It was once home to the "high-end cooperative" of the 1950s, and there was a village sewing group in the high room, which consisted of several young women, and the men called it the "Beauty Building".

Entering the second entrance is the second-order courtyard, which is composed of two quadrangle courtyards and a partial courtyard in parallel, each of which is integrated and connected to each other, and there are three families living in each other.

At the entrance of the courtyard, there is a step leading to the lower courtyard, the vertical height is also eight or nine meters, the slope is 30 degrees, dare to compare with Mount Hua, the bluestone steps are polished. I often go here to play, usually crawling up and down, afraid to look down. The elderly and children living here can walk on the ground, which is really a lot of work. It is precisely because of its steepness that when people talk about the second-order courtyard, the first thing that comes to mind is this steep step.

Legend has it that during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Hao Jiazhuang produced a lifter, and the imperial court built a flagpole courtyard for his family. "Flagpole Courtyard" is not large, but the door face is exquisite, so it is very famous. According to the regulations of the courtyard, the weeping flower gate should be located in the second entrance door, so where its gate is still to be examined, which may also confirm that it originally had the saying of "one into the eighteenth courtyard".

There are many more decent courtyards in Haojiazhuang, such as the circle gate courtyard, the gate courtyard, etc., according to local conditions, each has its own advantages, and the overall building is mainly stone, mostly exquisite courtyards. Due to the topographical reasons, the courtyards are stepped, and there are many high-rise buildings.

In addition to the architecture, several places in the village are also famous. At the northern end of the village, hemp is a large stone nest in the trough of the Avenue River. The water after the rain is a good place for children to swim. Now it is the seat of the village committee and has a stage.

Xiao Guanliang, the ancestral tomb of the King of Xigu surnamed Fuxinglong. There is a huge square bluestone, which is said to be an official seal and cannot be damaged by moving the soil. Because of the descendants of several officials, it is considered to be a treasure land of feng shui.

Pear Garden Is the largest and more level site in the village, with a row of cave dwellings built on the backing hill, the village committee, the commissary, the pharmacy have all been set up here, and for a while it has become a refractory factory, which is now converted into a two-story school.

East Slope

The eastern slope, on the east cliff of the Avenue River, is said to be a slope, but in fact it stands vertically on the east side of the Avenue River. There was a large tree at the head of the cliff, and on the tree hung a large iron cylinder with a thick bowl mouth, more than a meter long, and the old people said that it was a shell shell. It is the only bell in the village, and the notices of the whole village are transmitted through it. At that time, there was no electricity, there was no loudspeaker, only the "bells" could be heard, and someone shouted to send a notification. The whole village could hear this.

The tree in the distance is the eastern slope

In my hometown, standing in my yard, I can see the east slope, and as soon as the bell rings, Niangniang (called Grandma in the local dialect) asks me to go out and listen to what is going on. Usually there are meetings, singing, movies and the like, and the squads are also notified by ringing the bell, such as miscellaneous days. Tianzao is a collective name for vegetables by the locals, such as beans and melons. The production teams collectively collected crops or miscellaneous crops, and distributed them uniformly on the spot, according to the population of each household. Although the east slope is on the opposite side, I have to go down to the bottom of the river and climb up, so I rarely go there. The daughter of the next-door neighbor married dongpo and occasionally shouted across the river, but rarely returned home. Today's Dongpo has no cliffs, no big clocks, and no childhood memories.

The Great Cliff and the Temple of the Immortals

The big cliff is on the north side of the village, and the local dialect pronounces the cliff as a saddle. Stone cliffs are towering, and pines and cypresses cover up. At the top of the cliff, there is a road to Nantong Menglou and north to the northern end of the village. There is also a road at the bottom of the cliff, and the road at the top of the cliff meets the road at the top of the cliff to the north. There is also a road parallel to the bottom of the cliff, which is the inner street, which separates from the southern end of the cliff bottom. There is a grotto cave on the straight cliff, which is said to be the Temple of the Immortals. Today, villagers have built a small temple and built a road next to the grotto to facilitate the villagers' sacrifices. When I was a child, I carried later clay for my family and slime, and I had to go through this road, and I glanced at the grotto overhead and quickly accelerated my pace, and the half-hidden cave opening was like a black hole eye staring at you, trying to swallow you up.

The grotto did not swallow anyone. However, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Haojiazhuang Village was indeed devastated by the Japanese Kou, and many houses were burned down.

Old photo of Pingding City in Guzhou

There are many legends circulating in Haojiazhuang, among which the legend of Menglou is the most mythological. Legend has it that in the south of Pingding County, Guzhou, a fortune teller came, and saw the unique terrain of Pingding, which was like a dragon vein, and wanted to produce three liters and three buckets of sesame officials. Gao Ren was shocked and thought: Can't all the officials in the world let the Pingding people be it. So he tricked the locals into building a South Heavenly Gate at the neck of the dragon vein and stuck some official luck. Some people also say that if a big man or a big horse (big thief) is to be produced in the north of Pingding, the north gate of Pingding City must be sealed. Since then, Pingding City has only three gates: east, south and west. One year, a hole was dug by rats in the north wall of the city, facing Haojiazhuang in the northeast direction, which was unbelievable, haojiazhuang produced a big figure in the sky, that is, Wang Benyuan, His Highness the Royal Highness, and people called him "Wang Er".

Wang Erfeng, who became the son of Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang, built an attic on the western slope of Haojiazhuang, named Yongfeng Lou, also known as "Dream Building". Yongfeng Building was originally planned to build ten floors, can see the city of Beijing, by the main building, annex building, embroidery building, the gate on both sides of the decoration of stone lions, stone tables, Shangma stone, etc., the building structure is exquisite, magnificent. Later, because Wang Er was killed for the people's life, the Dream Building became the eternal dream of the people. Haojiazhuang is also famous for this story in Guzhou.

Wang Er's story has been circulating for more than three hundred years since the early Qing Dynasty in Pingding County and even parts of Hebei, and there are traces in Pingding City and nearby villages, and there are tombstones in ancestral tombs. Although the "Dream Building" is difficult to verify, the architectural regulations of the site seem to tell the world about the glory of that year.

When I was a child, I often climbed to the place where the highest part of the village was called Yashang, and stood in the Dream Tower, with a panoramic view of the mountains and rivers in the distance, and indeed had the feeling of King's Landing. Mó suō was looking at the stone lion at the ruins of the Dream Tower, and I remembered the song "The Legend of the Wooden Fish Stone."

"There is a beautiful legend

It gives wisdom to the brave

It can also give joy to the good

As long as you understand its preciousness

The mountain high can also be obtained from that road far away

The cemetery is backed by mountains and faces water, overlooking the mountains, the jungle is towering, and the Yuxiu Bell Spirit. There are one tomb of the 13th ancestor, three tombs of the 14th ancestor, and more than 300 tombs of the 15th to 23rd ancestors. Wang Benyuan and his brother Wang Bencheng originally moved to this place for future generations to visit.

Haojiazhuang is a brilliant person and has a rich cultural heritage. Over the centuries, he has worked hard and skillfully to make coarse grains into a variety of delicious foods. For example, during the New Year's festival or when entertaining relatives, people use the limited white noodles to the extreme. Foreskin gnocchi, white skin black noodle steamed bun are rolled white noodles into thin skin like paper, the jade noodles or black and white bread in the inside, let people look at the white jade its appearance is gratifying, a bite down black and white, the original shape is exposed. The difficult years forced people to rack their brains and find ways to make exquisite food with limited coarse grains. During the first month, people still have to be busy preparing food for the New Year with coarse grains. "Ten seeds" is one of the foods, probably to take the meaning of many children and many blessings, with several kinds of noodles such as jade noodles, grain noodles, noodles and (huó) good after the reunion into a round group, on the top with chopsticks pestle a few eyes, divided into 1 to 10 eyes, steamed in a pot, after cold is very hard, not delicious, people also call it "stone lump eggs". "Huang'er" is another kind of steamed food, after being fermented with rice noodles, it is put into a kind of sand bowl mold and steamed in a pot, because it is fermented, the sour is sweet and sweet, and it is liked. "Tuan" is also a kind of steamed food, with jade noodles and good, fermentation; the red adzuki beans are boiled in a pot until soft and rotten, rolled into a puree, and these fillings are wrapped in a good jade noodle, shaped like a steamed bun, steamed in a pot, because there is bean filling, so it is very popular. "Oilcloth bag", also known as "slashing three knives", is a kind of higher-grade food, with jade noodles and yellow rice noodles and good fermentation, steamed, rolled into strips, cut into sections, each section with a knife to slash three knives, forming a four-petal shape, frying into a golden brown under the frying pan, when eating, the pot is distilled, soft and delicious, sweet and rich. Unfortunately, at that time, edible oil was scarce, often fried with hemp (castor) oil, after eating dizziness and nausea, poisoning symptoms were obvious, that year, it was also impossible to do. On this kind of food, new year to visit relatives, it and steamed buns as gifts to give. After the food is prepared, it is placed in an urn or crock pot in the utility room so that it can be stored for a longer time and prevent cats or mice from stealing it.

My hometown of Haojiazhuang

These foods are slightly sweet. In the past, there was no money to buy sugar, and occasionally Saccharin was used, but most of the time it relied on the sweetness produced by fermentation. When fermenting, there is no current baking powder, that is, put the reconciled noodles in the basin, put in the "Xitou", and then place the pot on the stove or kang, observe the changes in the noodles, smell like a spoiled sour taste, and look at the noodles that have been sent can pull out the silk, which is the fermentation. "Xitou" is the local name, in fact, it is a noodle primer, also called noodle fat, contains a lot of yeast, every time you make noodle food, leave a small piece for the next time you use. In the practice of life, the working people have been inspired by the hard years to inspire a lot of wisdom, which is impressive.

On a normal day, it is still mainly based on sǎn, nests, dumplings, paste and other jade noodle foods.

Stone

In the summer, when the weather is hot and the appetite is weakened, the housewives make some cold food. Pancakes are a delicious food, but eating them is not an easy task. I remember when we returned home from summer vacation, my mother-in-law occasionally ate pancakes. In the summer, the days are long and early, but it is still called up before dawn. The soybeans and jade seeds that had been soaked in advance were ground, and the brothers and sisters took turns to push and grind. Because he got up early, with a lazy body, he slept with pity, and he slowly pushed the grinding fan that was deliberately opposing you, muttering in his heart why he was suffering from this sin. Without pushing a few times, I fainted, and the adults went back to sleep again in disgust. Along with the rhythm of pushing and grinding people's footsteps, humming a low and melodious minor stone mill gradually flowed out of the grinding cracks with milky white slurry, and the children shouted happily: "Out, out." The sky is already bright, the yard is full of melons, pears and peaches hanging from the branches, and the leaves are full of golden sunlight. In the shade of the tree, Niangniang had already supported the jade, and the jade skin ignited the jade rod with great fire. Niangniang first smeared half a piece of yam egg in oil on the tweezer, scooped a spoonful of the ground pulp juice from the basin, turned it around and poured it on the tweezer, and then picked up a wooden scraper to evenly scrape the juice evenly and thinly. After a while, a large thin pancake draped in golden flowers like a morning glow appeared in front of me. The pancakes are folded into squares like quilts and hung on the grates, and the children can't wait to tear apart the long-awaited fragrant pancakes, chewing on the joy and tasting the happiness, and the hard work and complaints of the morning are gone. This kind of childhood happiness seems to be engraved in the heart, decades have passed, and now it is still so vivid and refreshing.

Small baskets and water cellars for drawing water

Diet, life is inseparable from water. In the past, there was no electricity or running water in the countryside, and the water was all dependent on God. Each yard has a water cellar that is used to collect rainwater from the yard. The bottom of the water cellar is about three or five meters, and the mouth of the cellar is 20 or 30 centimeters, and the depth of four or five meters is like a large gourd holding water. When we were young, adults used to say that "little (boys) don't eat for ten years", and used this to motivate us to do housework. When I was eight or nine years old and in my teens, my mother-in-law called us: "Go, pluck (bá) on a shāo (shāo) jar of water", which is the dialect of the local people's name for the bucket. We also had to carry small baskets and jars to the water cellar. The small basket is much smaller in diameter than the ordinary jar so that it can be placed in the mouth of the water cellar, and a long rope is tied to the beam. Put the small basket into the mouth of the water cellar, alternate hands to send the rope slowly down, when the small basket touches the water surface, you need to skillfully swing the rope back and forth, so that the small basket tilts to scoop the water into the small basket, and then pull the rope hard to lift the small basket, pour the water into the basket, and fill the basket with water several times back and forth. In fact, doing this work is worrying, both afraid of falling the rope into the water cellar without paying attention, and worrying about slipping into the water cellar. Looking down at the water surface in the water cellar reflecting his own face, twisting and deforming with the fluctuations of the water surface, just like looking at the haha mirror, his heart could not help but be happy, and he threw aside his fear. The water is not clean, it is originally rainwater that falls into the yard and then flows through the waterway into the cellar to settle, and when the water reaches the kitchen urn, it is full of jiéjués, and the villagers have eaten such water for generations. When I think about what kind of water people in the city are arguing about what kind of water to eat, I think it is ridiculous.

In the past, it was pushed by donkeys, and later there was a pot camel machine in the village, and the people in the village were very rare. This behemoth, four or five meters high, it was all topped to the roof, poured corn from the floor of this room, automatically lifted up through a diagonal rail into the machine of the other room, began to grind, and then repeatedly sieve, and finally came out of the other end flour and bran. When I was a child, I used to go to this place when I went back to my hometown, and I wanted to see what was going on. Now that I think about it, the guy should be the boiler generating steam to do power with a set of grinding surface shaking sieve equipment. Then there was electricity before there was an electric mill.

There are many temples in Haojiazhuang, including Shousheng Temple, Cuiyun Pavilion (known by villagers as Sankong Pavilion), Guangong Temple, Five Dragons Virgin Temple, Dragon King Temple, River Temple, etc.

The Three-Eyed Pond and the Five Dragon Temple in Chigou

Haojiazhuang is located in the mountainous area, long drought and little rain, draft water is by the cellar to gather rainwater, only in the northwest of the village there are three eyes of the pool, long years of water does not dry, mountain spring water from the mountainside to the pool. Legend has it that in ancient times, a girl who accidentally ate a gem and became pregnant, gave birth to five dragons in a stone cave in this ditch, red, yellow, blue, white, and green. Later, when the little dragon ascended to heaven, in order to commemorate the fertility place, he drew 3 circles on the ground and turned them into three pools. Later generations were grateful for the grace of Huize to build the Temple of Our Lady and the Temple of the Five Dragons here, and this ditch was also called the Pond Ditch. It is also said that there is a daughter-in-law from Henan in the village, who is called a strange woman, who went to Sandu Village to compete in martial arts and won back the thirteenth temple fair of the sixth month of the lunar calendar.

Cui yun Ge (Sankong Pavilion)

Cuiyun Pavilion, the main ancestor of Zhenwu The Great, is located at the entrance of the village south of the village, and is a landmark building of Haojiazhuang Village. The base is three holes of the bluestone arch culvert, spanning the Avenue River from east to west, because there are three stone ticket gates built below, and the villagers call it three holes pavilion in pronunciation, most of the time called it Geershang. The front and back of the pavilion are inlaid with stone foreheads, the forehead is "Cuiyun Pavilion", and the heads of animals are carved in stone on both sides. An attic was built on the abutment, with a porch in front and back, a neutral two pillars, a column top with a frontal eaves, a rafter with a loose eaves, a hard summit, a middle ridge, an east and west ridge decoration, and a beast at the four corners. When I was a child, I went to play, and there was no wall in front of and behind the main pavilion, which was transparent and bright, and the murals on the wall were faintly visible. Later, the village attached importance to it and carried out restoration, which is an immovable cultural relics of Pingding County.

Behind Cuiyun Pavilion is the Laoye Temple, which is the temple dedicated to Guan Gong.

The ancient opera stage opposite the river temple is completely unrecognizable

Rural areas generally use the opera stage as the political and cultural center. There is a temple located at the intersection of the Dadao River and the river out of Dongyu Village, called the River Temple, and there is a stage opposite it, which is the earliest stage I know, and it should also be the oldest stage in Haojiazhuang, following the old rules, the stage is to the temple, and the temple is singing a big drama. Today, the temple has been restored, but the stage has been completely impoverished.

At the end of 2011, the old stage has now collapsed on the top

In the mid-to-late 1960s, a second stage was built on the north side of The LiyuanChang, the seat of the village committee at that time, which was much larger than the old stage and sheltered from the old stage. The village has its own set of opera teams, all of which are volunteer groups, and they open gongs and sing operas every New Year's Festival, attracting many villagers from surrounding villages. Whenever the opera was sung, each family prepared a meal early, and the children could not wait to go to the stage to visit the class repeatedly. Each family sent people to occupy the place under the stage, and the field was filled with bricks and tiles, high benches and low beds (modern people call small benches).

Smoating

In the past, when singing opera, there was no condition to inform the opening time, and the agreement became customary, and before the opening of the play, it was divided into three stages and played teng (teng). Singing is the opening music of percussion instruments such as drums, cymbals, cymbals, and large and small gongs according to a fixed tone. The villagers listened to the sound of snoring and each prepared to watch the play. Play it three times, and the play will begin.

Gas lamp (net map)

At that time, there was no electricity in the village, and the night scene hung two gas lamps on the stage, which was a kind of oil and gas burning lamp, that is, the oil was injected into the oil box of the gas lamp, and then the gas cylinder on the lamp was used to inflate, and the oil vapor was re-ignited, which was very bright, but the play had to be stopped in the middle, and the lamp was put down to add gas. Even so, the villagers were mesmerized. When I was a child watching a play, I couldn't understand the drama text, nor could I understand the face, that is, to see a hot and lively. Sleepy and unable to go home, one is that the family has come to see the play, and the other is that they have to wait for the end of the play to help the old man carry the stool.

The new theater stage rushed to the temple on April 28

With the change of the village's political and cultural center, the village built a new stage in the early 1980s at the intersection of the northern end of the village's ancient street and the river trough traffic artery called Ma Dip, which is larger than the one in the pear garden field and has a much more advanced functional configuration. The equipment on the stage is also different from the past, and all kinds of electric sound, lighting, and background are colorful and colorful. But the people who watch the drama do not have the passion of the past, and the number of people is getting less and less every year.

Nowadays, the ancient opera stage has changed beyond recognition, only the barren grass on the roof continues its life; the old stage has moved from time to time, and the thick beams cannot resist the destruction of the years; the new theater stage has a heavy responsibility on its shoulders, calling for the revitalization of the hometown and its brilliant reappearance. With the passage of time, the three stages of Haojiazhuang Village are still standing on their respective coordinates, witnessing the changes of this ancient village.

Beijing-Kunming Expressway Haojiazhuang toll station

With the radiation of the country's rapid economic development and the implementation of the national policy of building a new countryside, the political and cultural center of Haojiazhuang Village has gradually moved down and developed inward, and this old central village has taken on a new responsibility. The Beijing-Kunming Expressway runs along the village, and the provincial secondary highway runs through the village, setting up a higher stage for Haojiazhuang, and the ancient village is full of infinite future.
