Dialects are commonly known as local dialects, and each place has its own unique dialect. Dialects are living fossils of cultures that have undergone a long process of evolution. The entry of the Han nationality in the Central Plains into Yunnan is the source and element of the formation of the Qujing dialect. In the dialect area, it can be divided into a number of "sub-dialect areas", that is, local dialects, such as: Qujing dialect (city), Qilin district dialect (county), Laojie dialect (township and village groups). As a cultural form and cultural carrier rooted in the folk, dialects have a deep folk cultural soil and strong charm. Language is the most precious cultural heritage of mankind, and when a language disappears, the corresponding civilization will also disappear. Although Mandarin is important as a modern communication tool, it is not contradictory that dialects, as a national culture that has been passed down for hundreds of years, should also be protected.
The author has devoted himself to the study and research of local history and folk culture for a long time in his spare time, and after unremitting folk collection, he has sorted out many Qujing dialects, and the compilation parts are as follows:
