On the 24th, Tesla told Nandu reporters that it respects the law and will actively respond to lawsuits. "Before that, I don't want to have too many disturbing voices and misleading public opinion."

According to Nandu's previous report, on the day of the Shanghai Auto Show on April 19, Ms. Zhang and others wore T-shirts printed with the "brake failure" and Tesla logo to defend their rights at the Tesla booth, causing widespread concern.

On the evening of September 27, Ms. Zhang posted on Weibo that she had received a pre-litigation mediation opinion consultation letter from the Qingpu District People's Court in Shanghai. Nandu reporter noted that in its attached civil complaint, Tesla claimed that Ms. Zhang's "roof rights protection" behavior in April this year violated her right to reputation, and demanded that Ms. Zhang publicly apologize and compensate Tesla for the direct property losses caused by this incident "provisionally 5 million yuan".

Ms. Zhang said on her personal Weibo that she currently has two related disputes with Tesla, one is that she sued Tesla and Tesla's global vice president Tao Lin for infringement of the right to reputation, which will hold a pre-trial conference on September 28; the other is Tesla's lawsuit against her for infringement of the right to reputation.

On September 30, Ms. Zhang told Nandu reporters that she would resolutely safeguard her legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law.
