"Taiwan Tea No. 13" is a tea plant variety officially cultivated by Taiwan and named in 1981, with a strain number of 2029, which is a shrub type, a small leaf species, a mesozoic tea plant, suitable for oolong tea and green tea.

"Taicha No. 13", which has the same ancestry as "Taicha No. 12", has a similar appearance, such as thick leaf flesh, dark green leaf color, wide oval appearance, large and rough serrations, and a large obtuse angle between the main and lateral veins. The biggest difference in appearance between the two is that the leaf tips of "Taiwan Tea No. 13" de are slightly blunter than those of "Taiwan Tea No. 12".
