In the ensuing series of activities to commemorate Xiao Yin, Lai Shaoqi, who had a half-century friendship with Xiao Yin as a classmate and comrade-in-arms, has been actively participating in Xiao Yin's hometown Longchuan to commemorate Xiao Yin's various projects.
1. Inscription for Xiao Yin's former residence
Xiao Yin's former residence is located in the bamboo garden of Tuocheng, Longchuan, Guangdong Province, and is a small three-story building. Here, Xiao Yin spent his teenage years. After liberation, he also returned to his former residence several times to write.
After Xiao Yin's death, Lai Shaoqi wrote an inscription for Xiao Yin's former residence, "Xiao Yin's Former Residence, hanging above the door of the former residence."

2. Coordinate quarterly matters of Statue Xiao Yin
After Xiao Yin's death, Xiao Yin's wife Tao Ping wrote a report, and the Guangdong Provincial Writers Association submitted to the Propaganda Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee for approval and appropriation to build a statue of Xiao Yin in Xiao Yin's hometown of Longchuan.
The statue was made by famous sculptors Cao Chong'en and Liao Huilan. The statue has both the shape of a god and has won the praise of the family and all parties.
In the process of creating and making the statue, Lai Shaoqi, who is more than 70 years old and is plagued by work mistakes, has also corresponded with Cao Chong'en and his wife and the Longchuan County Party Committee and other parties many times to coordinate on the progress of the statue creation, the arrangement of inscription engraving, and the selection and production of stone, ensuring the smooth completion of the statue production and the completion ceremony.

3. Inscription of inscriptions
On the front of the pedestal of Xiao Yin's statue are three large characters of "Xiao Yin Statue" written by Lai Shao. The other three sides are engraved with a refined inscription of more than 100 words. Written by the writer Wu Youheng and written by the calligrapher and painter Lai Shaoqi. The inscription reads: "The literary scholar Xiao Yin, formerly known as Zheng Wensheng, was born in 1915 in the Bamboo Garden of Tuocheng, Longchuan, and went to Yan'an in 1938 to join the Communist Party of China, in 1939 to North China, was injured in the War of Resistance Against Japan, and served as a newspaper editor and professor after the War of Liberation of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the founding of the People's Republic of China, all of whom devoted themselves to revolutionary literary work, paying special attention to literary criticism and guiding young people to write with outstanding results for life, and died tirelessly at the age of 68. Xiao Yin was a child who studied poorly in the countryside and was eager to learn all his life, but Wu Youheng wrote Lai Shaoqi's book, July 1, 1987. ”

Dear comrades,
The commemorative statue of Comrade Xiao Yin, a MEMBER of the Communist Party of China and a famous literary figure, was unveiled today.
Comrade Xiao Yin attended the "Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art" personally presided over by Comrade Mao Zedong in Yan'an, and he has always adhered to Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought. Adhere to the four cardinal principles, adhere to the literary creation and literary criticism of socialist realism. Comrade Xiao Yin has devoted his life to cultivating literary youth; he has cultivated a group of famous literary scholars, and they will always be grateful to him.
Comrade Xiao Yin is a native of Longchuan and received help from Comrade Xiao Yin in difficult times. The people will also be forever grateful to him.
The installation of Xiao Yin's memorial statue in his hometown of Longchuan was approved by the Propaganda Department of the Cpc Guangdong Provincial Party Committee. It was established by the Huiyang Prefectural Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Huiyang District Administrative Office, the Longchuan County CPC Committee and the Longchuan County People's Government.
Comrade Wu Youheng spent several months writing an inscription of more than 150 words for the commemorative statue of Comrade Xiao Yin, deliberating word by word, and the language was serious, neat, enthusiastic, and realistic. It has gone deep and simple, inherited and carried forward the fine tradition of inscription literature, and will also be an important document of longchuan county local history.
Famous sculptor Professor Cao Chong'en Fu and his wife Comrade Liao Huilan, based on photos and literary works of Comrade Xiao Yin. With lofty enthusiasm, comrade Xiao Yin was statued and achieved high artistic achievements.
