Meiben, Nvidia and Bosch cooperate to promote the upgrading of autonomous driving technology

Recently, Mercedes-Benz has reached a partnership with NVIDIA and Bosch to bring driverless cars powered by NVIDIA AI technology to the market. Daimler and Bosch plan to pilot free driverless car-sharing services in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Meiben, Nvidia and Bosch cooperate to promote the upgrading of autonomous driving technology

In previous reports, Nvidia has mentioned that it has cooperated with Uber and Aurora to create self-driving cars, using the open source NVIDIA Drive artificial intelligence autonomous driving platform.

NVIDIA's Drive Pegasus supercomputer, along with the Drive Xavier and Drive Constellation systems, will be responsible for processing the large amounts of data generated by autonomous driving. NVIDIA's Drive Pegasus supercomputer is equipped with four processors for autonomous driving, while the entire platform is only the size of a car license plate, handling 320 trillion operations per second.

At gt;TC in March, NVIDIA unveiled drive Constellation, a simulation system for testing autonomous vehicles. Drive Constellation is a computing platform based on two different servers, which can be understood as a complete hardware and software solution.

Bosch has always been a parts supplier to Mercedes-Benz, and the addition of NVIDIA can realize the commercialization of autonomous vehicles as soon as possible. NVIDIA uses Mercedes-Benz's platform to obtain more data and improve its own artificial intelligence autonomous driving platform. At the same time, this cooperation will also help Nvidia's layout in artificial intelligence.
