MediaTek expects revenue to reach $17 billion this year and double in two years

According to Taiwan media reports, MediaTek Chairman Cai Lixing publicly said yesterday that it is expected that this year's revenue is expected to reach $17 billion, compared with $8 billion in 2019 to achieve double growth.

In terms of mobile phone chips, MediaTek's market share was only more than 20% in 2018, and it has increased to 40% this year, surpassing Qualcomm to rank first in the world. However, just looking at 5G chips, Qualcomm still holds the leading position.
