Yao Yecheng is a county in Wu County, Jiangsu Province, and was born very bitterly. After marrying, her husband smoked opium and she was forced to work as a prostitute in a brothel. Yao Yecheng got along well with Chiang Kai-shek and sacrificed his life to save Chiang Kai-shek. Once, in Shanghai, some people were arresting the chaotic party everywhere. Chiang Kai-shek was driven by the enemy with nowhere to escape, and in a hurry, he rushed into The room where Yao Yecheng received the guest and burrowed under the bed. The pursuers rushed over. Yao Yecheng intervened with them, and with great difficulty, he successfully sent these people away and covered Chiang Kai-shek to escape the danger of being caught.
Chiang Kai-shek and Yao Yecheng have been friends for many years and have not given her a name, but they have always had contacts. In the winter of 1927, Chiang Kai-shek married Soong Mei-ling, and under the pressure of the Soong family, he once published a newspaper announcing that he would cut off all the women in the past and vowed not to see each other. This Yao Yecheng is also among the "women". Despite this, Chiang Kai-shek later raised his son. Yao Yecheng also did not live up to Chiang Kai-shek's heavy trust and raised Chiang Weiguo as an adult. However, she believed in Buddhism very sincerely, and there was a Buddhist hall in her home, where she would recite the sutras regularly every day.
Due to the lack of exercise in playing mahjong, Yao Yecheng suffered a stroke and could not get out of bed after he was old.
After Yao Yecheng suffered a stroke, seeing that she would not live long, she told a relative of the Yao family in Suzhou: "After my death (that is, death), I must not wear a hat into the coffin!" ”

It turned out that the knot without a name in her heart was still unsolved.
In 1966, Yao Yecheng fell ill and died in Taipei.
