In the Jiangjiawan Group of Longwang Village, Gaoqiao Town, Hong'an, Hubei Province, near the far side of the village, there is a brick and wood house, green brick and green tiles, a one-story bungalow, on the lintel of the house, nailed with a wooden sign, on which are written several large gold characters: Jiang Tengjiao's former residence, this house is the hometown of Jiang Tengjiao, the founding major general Jiang Tengjiao, who was born here in 1919.
Jiang Tengjiao, the family is very poor, when he was a child, his hometown revolution was full of flames, became the source of the jute uprising and the cradle of the Eyu-Anhui Su District, so at the age of 11, he followed the adults to participate in revolutionary work, because of the more clever people, he was elected as the captain of the Huang'an District Children's League, and later served as the secretary of the Pi nan County Children's Bureau, and then entered the Red Army team and became a "red devil".
At that time, after the main force of the Red Fourth Front Army and the Red Twenty-fifth Army in the Eyu-Anhui Su District and the Red Twenty-fifth Army marched westward, Jiang Tengjiao was ordered to stay in the Eyu-Anhui base area and then incorporated into the Red 28 Army led by Gao Jingting.
In the face of the enemy's heavy troops' encirclement and blockade, Gao Jingting was an outstanding guerrilla expert, leading the Red 28Th Army to hold out for three years, and beat the enemy army to change the commander three times, Jiang Tengjiao followed this unit that could recruit good battles, learned while fighting, and accumulated rich combat experience in these three years, laying the foundation for future development.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Jiang Tengjiao's contingent was reorganized into the fourth detachment of the New Fourth Army, during which time he successively served as a company instructor, battalion commander, battalion instructor, director of the regimental political office, and deputy director of the political department of the detachment.
In particular, in the anti-Japanese and anti-stubborn operations, fruitful results were achieved; in the defense battle of Bantaji in early March 1940, Jiang Tengjiao, despite being seriously wounded, led three battalions and fraternal troops, together with the middle road breakthrough, directly inserted into the area of Wangdianji, Liantang, and Zhanggongpu in the northeast of The Bantaji, and fought fiercely with the 10th Brigade of Han Stubborn Standing and crushed the enemy. In close coordination with the local masses and the self-defense forces, it repelled more than 10 onslaughts by the diehard troops, held the main position for 7 days and nights, won time for the main force to return to reinforcements, defeated the enemy, and won a complete victory in the defense battle of the Half Pagoda Group.
After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Jiang Tengjiao's unit was ordered to march into the northeast, and he successively served as director of the political department of the 24th Brigade of the Northeast Democratic Coalition Army, director of the political department of the Second Military Subdistrict of the Northern Liaoning Military Region, and director of the political department of the 115th Division of the Northeast Field Army. In particular, this 115th Division, which is the main force of the 39th Group Army, has made great achievements in various battles.
This contingent was praised as "well equipped, with an older historical foundation, good combat enthusiasm, resolute in carrying out orders, and courageous in fighting style." In the War of Liberation, he participated in the three offensives in Jiangnan, the summer, autumn and winter offensives of 1947, and the battles of Liaoshen, Pingjin, and Guangxi. In particular, in the Tianjin Campaign, the 115th Division took the lead in breaking through the solid city defenses and entering the urban area; the division was an old unit with the foundation of the Red Army, a first-class brigade of the New Fourth Army, with high combat enthusiasm, resolute in carrying out tasks, courageous in fighting style, good at field battles and able to attack strong points, and strong combat effectiveness, and was one of the first-class main divisions of Siye.
In the Tianjin Campaign of the Liberation War, the 115th Division, of which Jiang Tengjiao served as the director of the Political Department, served as the main attack of the first echelon, and cooperated with the fraternal troops to break through side by side in the Hepingmen section. Subsequently, the famous Tianjin victory caused the war situation in North China to take a sharp turn, forcing the Fu Zuoyi clique in Beiping to accept the peaceful conditions for leaving the city and reorganizing, and Peiping was also declared liberated.
To this end, many heroic collectives and individual heroes have emerged in this unit, and a large number of commanders and fighters in the whole division have won various honors, which is the most classic battle of the 115th Division of Shino, and the commanders and fighters have completely overwhelmed the enemy with their fearless heroism, made the enemy feel frightened, and also won the name of the main division.
In 1955, Jiang Tengjiao was awarded the rank of major general, and the villagers introduced that when he joined the work as a young man, he started very early, and when he was awarded the title, he was one of the youngest founding major generals, he was only 36 years old, which can be described as young and promising, and many people in his hometown said that he had a bright future, and later served as the political commissar of the air force of the Nanjing Military Region, the largest military region, and was covered with a series of shining lights.
Unfortunately, he was late and did not protect, made a serious mistake, and was sentenced to 18 years in prison, his wife Li Yanping, later arranged to work in his hometown of Jiangjiawan, lived in this house in his hometown, because she had never participated in collective labor before, walking in the paddy field was crooked, so the village administrator was very merciful, and "punished" to go to the threshing ground to catch chickens! That was the easiest job in the production team at that time, and it was possible to sit in the shade and guard the grain without participating in any labor. Assign her the easiest and more decent work to do, and do everything possible to take care of him.
Later, the organization considered that he was an old Red Army soldier and had made military achievements in the war years, so it let him get out of prison early, and paid enough living expenses, and then his wife Li Yanping's treatment was set to retire to enjoy the administrative 18th level.
In his later years, Jiang Tengjiao and his wife lived in Taiyuan, eating and drinking without worry, and when he regained his freedom, he punched and walked every day, while Li Yanping helped his son and grandson, and the family lived a plain and comfortable life. When the reporter interviewed Jiang Tengjiao, he himself said, "This is okay, we are still much stronger than the common people." "The mentality in the later years is still very stable, more satisfied, and enjoy the old age." On May 8, 2009, Jiang Tengjiao died of illness in Beijing at the age of 90, and his wife died six years later at the age of 85.
