The Apple M2 processor will use the TSMC 4nm process

According to supply chain industry sources, the development of Apple's M2 series processor has been nearly completed, and it will use TSMC's 4nm process for mass production, and Apple Silicon will upgrade it every 18 months in the future.

The new MacBook Pro and iPad Pro will be on the M2 series of self-developed chips next year. Previous predictions said that if there is no accident, Apple's M2 chip will still be divided into M2 standard version, M2 Pro and M2 Max. The 2022 MacBook Air and entry-level MacBook Pro, which debut next year, will obviously only use the M2 Standard Edition, which has the same specifications as the M1, with a 4-core CPU and a maximum of 10 core GPUs.
