On December 19th, at the scene of the National Youth Creation and Manufacturing Practice Activity and the Second Youth Culture and Technology Forum jointly sponsored by Science and Technology Daily and the Palace Museum, this small work also took the big stage. Together with other youth scientific and technological innovation works, they entered the "Tiangong Cherishing Things- Cultural Confidence and Sustainable Development Youth Works Exhibition" held at the Palace Museum. It is understood that this is the first exhibition of youth works held at the Palace Museum.

At the forum, the relevant person in charge of Science and Technology Daily pointed out in his speech that the national youth creation and manufacturing practice activities are a brand product established by the newspaper in the process of transformation and development, aiming to guide young people to rely on modern scientific and technological means to continuously stimulate the inherent vitality of history and culture, highlight the vitality, and let the excellent traditional Chinese culture be upright, innovative, and carry forward. Contemporary Chinese youth are not only the experiencers and witnesses of the realization of the first centenary goal, but also the new force for realizing the second centenary goal and building a socialist modern power. I hope that the students will always maintain the passion of chasing the unknown, and constantly innovate and create.

Wang Xudong, a member of the party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and president of the Palace Museum, said in his speech that many of the buildings and cultural relics of the Palace Museum reflect the ancient working people's understanding of the laws of nature and the continuous use of science and technology to adapt to the environment. In terms of ecological environmental protection, the Palace Museum has also made great efforts in energy conservation and emission reduction and low-carbon development, hoping to guide tourists to feel the value of environmental protection and actively practice the concept of zero waste.

On the basis of fully excavating excellent cultural resources, the Palace Museum has continuously strengthened cooperation with universities, middle schools and primary schools, actively carried out various types of educational activities inside and outside the academy, expanded the content and form of educational projects, and continued to convey the excellent traditional Chinese culture carried by the Forbidden City to the vast number of young audiences.

In the afternoon of the same day, the "Seminar on innovative practice of education integrating culture and science and technology" was held in the Forbidden City. Expert representatives from museums, schools, educational institutions and news media shared their views on how to carry out scientific and technological cultural practice activities in the context of "double reduction". Experts pointed out that it is necessary to move the museum into the school, but also to open the classroom into the museum, and use popular science resources to promote the double reduction work.
