La Liga's e-sports league has reignited the flames of war, and the 2021/22 international competition stage has landed in China

The new La Liga esports tournament will be held in 13 countries, with challenges between The United States and China, bringing the EA SPORTS FIFA 22 and FIFA Online 4 tournaments to ignite around the world.

eLaLiga has announced some of the information for the 2021/22 international season, which will host 13 online matches around the world called "Santander La Liga Esports Beat the Best", in addition to two challenges in China and the United States. The event will help the eLaLiga brand continue its strategic development outside of Spain.

The competition will be held from December 2021 to May 2022, when amateur players will compete for the championship and will be given the opportunity to compete with local industry celebrities.

With the 2020/21 La Liga Esports Fan Cup in sight, the new season of esports is once again on its way. Last season attracted more than 20,000 entries and generated 3 million impressions on social media, which also witnessed the first step in eLaLiga's internationalization strategy.

Commenting on the event, Alfredo Bermejo, Director of Digital Strategy at La Liga, said: "The La Liga Esports Fan Cup is the first project to bring high-level local activities overseas. Although we had to make adjustments to the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were still able to complete the event in all the countries where we planned to do the event and lay the foundation for our international strategy. Two ambitious initiatives will continue to be undertaken this year: the Santander La Liga Esports China Pinnacle Cup and the La Liga Esports Challenge in China and the United States.

In addition to these matches, there will be two face-to-face encounters in China and the United States this season, starting with March 19-20 in China and the next three months later on June 20 in the United States.

In China, Kaka, Shen Rongjie, Lin Mengge, A Fat and other industry celebrities will form an important part of the event, which will feature some of the best local amateur players, celebrities and celebrities, aiming to raise the international brand image of eLaLiga to a new level through this e-sports feast.

On the verge of breaking new ground, La Liga's esports league is in its fifth season

The fifth regular season of la Liga esports will begin in Spain next February, heralding the start of a three-month campaign of excitement.

At the beginning of the season, the participating clubs will be divided into two groups and will meet every week to play each other out. The final ranking of the season will be determined by 180 rounds of matches between these clubs. La Liga esports will take a break in April and will resume playing in May.
