The Guanzhong Plain has been an important area for the development of human civilization since ancient times. The Banpo civilization, which belongs to the Yangshao culture in the Semi-Neolithic Era, was born and developed in the Guanzhong region. Six thousand years ago, the Banpo people had already lived a stable and orderly life of farming and animal husbandry. The mature early dynasties of Western Zhou and the State of Qin, which unified the six kingdoms, used the Guanzhong region as an important development base. During the Western Han Dynasty, Chang'an was the capital, laying the foundation of Han culture in the Guanzhong region. During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Guanzhong region, as the base of power of Western Wei and Northern Zhou, also provided a sufficient basis for the unification of sui and the prosperity of Tang. It is precisely because Guanzhong is the birthplace and fertile soil of the Zhou, Qin and Han civilizations, so it is called "the country of heaven".
