Li Peifu, a writer from our province, won the Novella Award for "Heluotu"; Shao Li won the Novella Award for "The Story of the Yellow River".
"Heluotu" goes deep into the depths of history, integrates a large number of folk and traditional cultural elements into the legend of the creation of wealth of the Heluo Kang family, the Chinese "living god of wealth", embodies the wisdom of survival in the commercial strategy, reveals the endless secret history of the Chinese people's soul and the code of national destiny, looks into history, illuminates the present, and insights into the future, showing Li Peifu's unremitting social care, ideological exploration and artistic persistence.
"My first novel, The Lee Family, was published in Novel Monthly 35 years ago, and 35 years later, my second novel, Heluotu, won the Hundred Flowers Literary Award for Novels. This is the second time that I have won the Hundred Flowers Literature Award, and I am willing to use this as a motivation to create more works for the majority of readers. Li Peifu said emotionally.

It is reported that the selection of the 19th Hundred Flowers Literature Award was launched in May 2021, and the selection scope is the works published in 2019-2020 by "Novel Monthly", "Novel Monthly · Original Edition", "Essay", "Prose Overseas Edition" and "Science Fiction Cube". Through reader voting and expert review, a total of 10 short story awards, 10 novella awards, 2 long fiction awards, 2 film and television drama adaptation value awards, 10 prose awards, 3 science fiction literature awards, and 3 cultural exchange special awards were selected. The novels, essays and science fiction literary works that won this year's Hundred Flowers Literature Award also have certain enlightenment and leading significance for the current domestic literary circles in terms of ideology and art.
The Hundred Flowers Literature Award, a literary award with the mission of selecting contemporary literature, was formerly known as the Hundred Flowers Award of the Novel Monthly Newspaper, founded by the Hundred Flowers Literary and Art Publishing House in 1984, and is held every two years. In addition, from the 16th in 2015, the prose award was added to the Hundred Flowers Literature Award.
