Data released by the China Automobile Dealers Association yesterday (17th) showed that China's second-hand car trading volume will increase by more than 20% year-on-year this year.
According to the data, from January to November this year, the national second-hand car trading volume was 15.96 million, an increase of 23% year-on-year. The full year 2021 trading volume is expected to be between 17 million and 17.5 million vehicles, with a growth rate of more than 20%.
Experts pointed out that this year, China has completely cancelled the national restriction on the relocation of second-hand cars, and implemented a series of convenient policies such as the digitization of the national second-hand car transfer in different places, and the reduction of sales value-added tax, which has greatly promoted the trading volume of second-hand cars.
Wang Xiaoyu, head of a used car platform: The proportion of our entire off-site circulation has increased from 30% to 80%.
The China Automobile Dealers Association pointed out that at present, our car ownership has reached 280 million, and the transaction volume of second-hand cars in 2021 is less than 20 million, and it should be said that there is still a lot of market space.
Luo Lei, deputy secretary-general of the China Automobile Dealers Association: A smooth second-hand car circulation system plays a very important role in supporting healthy automobile consumption, and a smooth second-hand car circulation system will support our new car consumption and should achieve a sustainable development state.
