It's official: Eriksen has completed the termination of his contract with Inter Milan

The official announcement is as follows:

Inter Milan FC confirmed that an agreement had been reached with Christian Eriksen to voluntarily terminate the contract. The club and the entire Blue and Black family sincerely wish Eriksen all the best for the future.

With Italy not allowing players with cardiac defibrillators to play, Eriksen and Inter decided to terminate their contract early.

Eriksen, who previously trained for recovery at Denmark's old club Odense, could sign with the team and another old club, Ajax, could also be his next stop.

Christian Eriksen, 29, joined the Danish Premier League Odense youth team in 2005 and helped Odense win the Danish Youth Championship in 2006.

In 2008, Eriksen joined Ajax in the Eredivisie, where he helped the team win three Eredivisie titles, one Dutch Cup and one Dutch Super Cup. Eriksen made 163 appearances for Ajax, scoring 32 goals and providing 65 assists.

In August 2013, Spurs signed Eriksen from Ajax for a transfer fee of £12 million. During his six and a half seasons at Tottenham, Eriksen played 305 games in all competitions, scoring 69 goals and providing 90 assists.

In January 2020, Inter signed Eriksen from Tottenham for an initial transfer fee of €20 million. Eriksen made 60 appearances for Inter in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing three assists to win the 20/21 Serie A title with the team.
