Recently, BYD and British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis (ADL) announced that the first batch of BYD ADL Enviro200EV XLB ultra-long pure electric buses have been assembled locally and are planned to be operated by New Zealand bus operator Howick & Eastern Transdev in the future.

It is understood that BYD ADL Enviro200EV XLB ultra-long pure electric bus integrates BYD lithium iron phosphate battery technology, power chassis technology and ADL and Kiwi Bus Builders professional bus customization technology, it can be said that in addition to the shell, everything on the bus comes from BYD.

With a length of 12.6 meters, the bus can accommodate up to 75 passengers and has a full power range of 300 kilometers to meet the needs of daily operations.

General Manager kiwi Bus Builders said: "It was a pleasure to assemble the vehicle, a process that gave us an idea of how to build buses in bulk to meet the government's zero emissions target. What's more, in the past five months, the four new apprentices have also been significantly improved in their work capacity. We hope to have more new people joining next year. ”

At present, BYD has obtained customers in many countries including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, India and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region, and globally, BYD's business has spread to more than 300 cities in more than 50 countries and regions around the world.
