Li Guan said that T690 is a highly secure and reliable embedded network processor chip developed by Square Inch Microelectronics, which provides a single-chip solution for border network security devices such as Internet of Things gateways, industrial routers, vehicle gateways, and lightweight VPNs, and is also the first chip from the security market to universal. The chip selects amp;AMP architecture with built-in domestic high-performance RISC-V processor core, the main core can run the Linux operating system to adapt to the existing software ecology, and realize high-real-time transaction processing from the core to run RTOS.
Li Guan said that the T690 chip has strong Security attributes, built-in HSM provides extremely fast cryptographic operation and secure data storage, in line with the requirements of national secret level II and EAL5+; built-in PMP and IOPMP components to achieve on-chip resource isolation and permission protection, providing TEE functions. The chip has strong Safety attributes, which ensures stability and reliability through memory ECC, bus CRC, safety island and other mechanisms, and meets the functional safety requirements of vehicle regulations. In addition, the chip supports high-speed communication interfaces such as PCIe3.0, USB3.0, and GbE, especially for GbE, which provides an optimized offload acceleration engine to achieve high-speed interconnection with the outside world.
The T690 chip provides multi-channel SDIO, LCD, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO and other low- and medium-speed IO and ADC, DAC interfaces to meet the requirements of low- and medium-speed communication and field control. The chip is equipped with a complete SDK, which comprehensively covers the three abstractions of Linux, RTOS and Bare-Metal, to meet the application development needs of different levels, and can also be used for other embedded applications in addition to the field of network security.
