Hikvision's response was added to the "Entity List" by the United States: the decision was baseless

On December 17, Hikvision Holdings Subsidiary Hangzhou Hikvision Micro Shadow Sensing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hikvision Micro Shadow") issued a statement saying that the U.S. decision to include the company on the "Entity List" was groundless, and the company had not developed, produced and sold Chinese military products in the past and now.

On December 16, local time, the U.S. Department of Commerce included 34 Chinese companies, including Hikvision, on the basis of supporting China's military modernization, on the entity list.

Hikvision said that the DECISION of the U.S. Department of Commerce is baseless, and Hikvision Micro Shadow has not developed, produced and sold Chinese military products in the past and now. The US government uses administrative means to sanction commercial enterprises for no reason, trying to isolate and block normal commercial cooperation between enterprises, which will not only harm the interests of the sanctioned enterprises, but also have far-reaching and sustained negative impacts on US enterprises and enterprises in other countries around the world.

Hikvision calls on experts and scholars, enterprise alliances, industry associations and other relevant stakeholders to attach great importance to the increasingly serious trend of corporate business behavior being politicalized by international politicization interference, and also hopes that all stakeholders will unite to resist geopolitical violence.
