Let's learn about the hero who saved the United States, Yelü Liuge (1165-1220), who was a native of Xianping Province in the Jin Dynasty, a Khitan royal family, and an official who served as the head of a thousand households in the north of the Jin Dynasty.

2. Yao Lilan was crowned queen

Their ranks grew rapidly, and within a few months, the rebel army reached more than 100,000 people. In November 1215, Yelü Liuge took his eldest son Xue Jian (薛阇) and the chancellor Qinu and others to ha lahelin in the north of the desert to see Genghis Khan (if not seen, the consequences are known to everyone), Genghis Khan sealed his brother as the king of Liao, made Yao Lishi a princess, gave him a golden tiger charm, leaving his eldest son Xue Jian and others as hostages, and let him return to Liaodong.
3. Yao Lishi continued the life of the Great Liao
In 1220, Yelü Liuge died, and Genghis Khan appointed Yao Lishi "PeiHu Fu" to lead the Eastern Liao military administration.
In 1226, Genghis Khan led a large army to attack Western Xia, and the Mongol iron horse under his command swept across the world.
Yao Lishi felt that the situation was not very optimistic, and in the same year, he personally led his second son, Brother Shan, third son Tiege, and fourth son Yong'an (all three of whom were her own children), and rushed to Chuanchuan in Western Xia to meet Genghis Khan.
Genghis Khan held a grand welcoming ceremony and stared at Yao Lishi, who had gray hair and courage and knowledge, like a psychologist, and constantly speculated in his heart.
After Yao Lishi saw Genghis Khan at the great worship, he explained his intentions straight away: he wanted to take his son who was a hostage at Genghis Khan to return to inherit the throne, and once again showed that Liao was always loyal to Genghis Khan (if he did not show loyalty, the consequences would be at his own risk).
Genghis Khan listened and said in a somewhat sad tone, "Xue Jian, a child, is loyal and filial, just like my son, and I cannot do without him (how hypocritical this is). I'm also in my sixties, and I don't see much time, and when I die, it's not too late to go. In short, Xue Jian could not leave. ”
Yao Lishi listened, prostrated his head, and burst into tears (so that he could show sincerity): "Great Khan Mingjian, Xue Jian is the original son of the deceased husband Liao Wang, the eldest son, the three younger brothers are all born of concubines, if the younger brother is allowed to take the throne, the concubines will be scolded by posterity." "Long live the True Dragon Heavenly Son, and whoever serves must hear the teachings and open the door." Ask the emperor to give grace, leaving the second son, Brother Shan, the fourth son, Yong'an, and the grandson to receive the three slaves, and give teachings day and night, and receive the imperial virtue. ”
This is psychological warfare between masters. In the end, Genghis Khan's move was perfectly caught by Yao Lishi and helped Genghis Khan dispel his concerns.
Genghis Khan was overjoyed at once, and smilingly left Yao Lishi's three biological sons and one grandson to serve him, and appointed his eldest son Xue Jian to return to the throne of Eastern Liao.
Yao Lishi thanked the lord Long En and returned to Dongliao.
In this way, Yao Li used her selflessness and wisdom to save the entire Eastern Liao from a devastating disaster, and continued to live for forty-three years, until the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1269), when the imperial court cut down the Eastern Liao state and no longer attacked the Liao King.
