Parker Solar Probe travels through the corona
According to the British Sky News Network reported on the 16th, NASA announced on the 14th that the Parker Solar Probe passed through the corona layer, that is, the outermost layer of the solar atmosphere, in April this year, becoming the first human probe to officially "touch" the sun.
Footage captured by the probe shows a stream of charged particles crashing head-on like hail and blizzards through the coronal layer, a spectacular scene with the vast Milky Way in the background.

The Parker Solar Probe was launched in 2018. In April, during its eighth solar overflight, it crossed the Critical Surface of Alvin for the first time and entered the Solar Atmosphere, completing the mission across the corona for several hours.
