Beijing, December 16, 2021 (Hereinafter referred to as the "Report") released by China News Network Beijing, December 16, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") pointed out that in 2021, the phenomenon of "card chain" and "broken chain" spread around the world, and China needs to make efforts to improve the modernization level of the industrial chain supply chain from five aspects.
The report is jointly published by the Institute of Industrial Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Research Center for Industrial and Enterprise Competitiveness of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Social Science Literature Publishing House.
The report pointed out that in 2021, the biggest impact encountered in the process of modernization of the industrial chain supply chain is that the instability and uncertainty of the industrial chain supply chain have risen sharply, the international cycle has appeared partial obstruction, the phenomenon of "card chain" and "broken chain" has spread globally, the modernization of China's industrial chain supply chain is facing lagging behind in the upgrading of factor structure, the development of the industrial chain and the innovation chain is unbalanced, and new challenges affecting the transformation and upgrading of the industrial chain supply chain.
In this regard, the report recommends further efforts from five aspects: promoting cross-regional integration and collaboration in the industrial chain supply chain, optimizing the layout of the industrial chain supply chain; promoting the integrated development of the innovation chain and the industrial chain supply chain, and opening up the key blockages of the industrial chain supply chain; continuously expanding the space for integration into the global industrial chain supply chain, improving capabilities and levels; coordinating the relationship between functional and inclusive industrial policies and industrial policies oriented to the modernization of the industrial chain supply chain; and establishing an industrial chain supply chain risk warning and extreme impact prevention mechanism.
The report pointed out that in the face of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, China is one of the few countries in the world to achieve independent research and development of a new crown vaccine. China's COVID-19 vaccine research and development is a typical case of making full use of the new national system and organizing all parties to jointly tackle key problems and solve major national needs. From launch to approval, whether it is the number and variety of new crown vaccines, or the speed of research and development, China has shown super competitiveness.
According to the report, the chip is one of the key factors driving the car safer, more efficient and more comfortable, and the competitiveness of the automotive chip industry determines the competitiveness of China's future automotive industry, and also reflects the overall competitiveness of China's chip industry to a certain extent. Judging from the global competitive situation in various segments of automotive chips and the competitive position of Chinese enterprises, China's automotive chip self-sufficiency rate is low, which does not match the automotive powers.
