Behind the business card, she was once a famous heroine. When the Xinhai Revolution broke out, she joined the Hangzhou Women's Death Squad, traveled to and from Tianjin, Beijing, Zhangjiakou, Luanzhou and other places, secretly instigated armed uprisings, and took heroic words such as "sacrificing her life for the country" as slogans for action, and finally let go of Shanghai. Yuan Shikai was enraged, and in November 1913 he forcibly dissolved the Women's Political League and offered a reward of 10,000 silver dollars to arrest Shen Peizhen and others. In this way, the flame of independent political participation for the first time in the history of Chinese women will be extinguished by the cold water of male power, and the women's political alliance that has been beautiful for a while will disappear.
