The earliest documentary records of Penglai Xiandao are that there is a sentence "Penglai Mountain in the Sea" in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas and the East Classic of Hai Nei", and the "Liezi Tang Qian" also has "There are five mountains in the east of the Bohai Sea, one is Dai you, the second is Yuanyue, the third is the square pot, the fourth is Yingzhou, and the fifth is Penglai".
Penglai is known as the "Three Gods Mountain" on the sea, Qin Shi Huang, in order to seek the elixir of immortality, sent Xu Fu to Penglai to find immortals to seek medicine, but where Xu Fu eventually went, there are many opinions. Penglai is located in Penglai City, Yantai City, Shandong Province, because of Penglai's unique geographical location, there have been mirages that are difficult to explain in ancient times.
This made the ancients think that Penglai lived with gods, so did Penglai have any gods in the end? In the history of the world, there have been many inexplicable ancient civilizations, Egyptian pyramids, bronze computers in ancient Greece, and various ancient Chinese legends, which lack evidence, but Penglai unearthed an ancient tomb more than 6,000 years ago.
In 1977, during a heavy rainstorm, some broken pottery pieces were rushed out of Penglai Long Island, and local cultural relics experts made a time estimate based on carbon change, and found that these broken pottery pieces were very old, at least 6,000 years ago, which was indeed exciting.
The expert group immediately surveyed the place where the pottery pieces were unearthed, they determined that there was an ancient tomb, when excavated, or let the experts surprised, in front of them is an ancient tomb group, the tomb still retains the complete bones, according to the identification of the bones, these people from 6500 years ago, belong to the Banpo clan period.
In the process of corpse bone examination, experts also found a surprising thing, that is, the female face shape in these ancient tomb groups has a large curvature of the slender mandible, which is a typical Caucasian woman, in order to be cautious, the expert specially spent a year to consult the data and compare with the female bones unearthed in foreign countries.
Eventually they determined that the bones did belong to the Caucasians, and after experts borrowed foreign and ancient Chinese texts for a two-sided reference, they came to some conclusions, due to the lack of food in ancient times, they all relied on hunting nomads, water sources, mountains, forests, grasslands are their first choice.
These people may have come to Penglai in search of food, but there are many questions here, Penglai is surrounded by the sea, how did they board Penglai? China has links with foreign nationalities, and the earliest documentary records are in the Han Dynasty, the opening of the Silk Road.
This discovery did create another precedent, as for the pottery pieces, there are some characteristics of the Banpo clan, and the males of the corpses are not all Westerners, that is, the Banpo clan living in the Yellow River Basin has also come to Penglai? And gave them basic farming.
Because the literature left behind is really limited, experts can only speculate through various guesses, as to whether there are immortals in Penglai, perhaps they also have a certain relationship!
