In Cui Yang Village, Chaihudian Town, Ningjin County, this village with 690 people was a red fertile land during the War of Resistance Against Japan, and since the 1990s, it has successively run carpet factories and chemical factories, and now it is a calligraphy and painting entrepreneurial base and art museum...

Cui Yang Village, located more than 20 kilometers south-southeast of Ningjin City, was the center of the activities of the party, government, and army leading organs in the Jilu Border Region in the early days of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and martyr Ma Zhenhua, commander of Xiao Hua and secretary of the Jinnan Prefectural Party Committee, often lived and moved here. At that time, in order to support the War of Resistance, Ren Yujie, head of the party organization in Cuiyang Village, sold his property and organized four blacksmith furnaces to create a sharp knife for the guerrillas of the Eighth Route Army to defend the country, and 17 martyrs in the village sacrificed their lives for the country, which became one of the prototypes of the "Record of the Great Knife".
Today, the Cui Yang Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall in Chaihudian Town, Ningjin County, displays a variety of large knives, and the rusty blades are witnesses of history and tell the glory of the past.
In this hot land soaked with red marks, Ren Yujie's grandson Ren Tingshui, who has been the secretary of the village party committee for more than 30 years, has won the title of outstanding communist party member in the province. In the 1990s, Ren Tingshui led the villagers to run enterprises to get rich, first set up a handmade carpet factory, because of the change in the export situation, after 2000 began to transform into a chemical factory, the surrounding area has also set up a number of supporting small chemical enterprises. At most, 1/3 of the villagers work in these chemical plants.
Ren Tingshui said: "Dry chemical industry, I and many villagers have indeed become rich, but the pollution problem in the village is difficult to solve." In recent years, the concept of ecological environmental protection has become more and more popular, Cui Yang is red, green, but can not be black. From 2013 to 2014, the chemical plant in Cui Yang Village stopped production one after another.
Ren Tingshui once wanted to try to lead the company into the park, but finally decided to completely transform. When he was in the carpet business, he met many painters in Beijing's Songzhuang Painters Village, and there were many idle factories in the village, could he invite them to come to the local sketching and creation? When all is said and done, he has transformed the old factories and warehouses that originally covered hundreds of acres into exhibition halls, studios, studios, and art galleries; he has built a seedling and flower base, a picking garden, and a fishing garden in the south of the village, and has vigorously greened and improved the environment in the village; he has changed the original staff canteen into a painter's canteen and transformed the housing into a talent apartment; on September 30, 2015, the Cui Yang Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall was opened to the public...
In the 3,000-square-meter oil painting exhibition hall and the 2,500-square-meter Chinese painting exhibition hall, handmade carpets, waste equipment and other industrial relics can be seen everywhere, and the painting and calligraphy art on the wall shines.
Today's Cui Yang Village, has built the country's largest village-level art museum, in the circle also has a lot of influence: more than 30 famous calligraphers and painters from all over the country live here, the museum has a collection of thousands of Chinese paintings, oil paintings, calligraphy, sculptures and other works of art, the art museum will hold various large-scale exhibitions every month, involving more than 400 well-known artists, receiving nearly 100,000 tourists every year.
