The giants of yesteryear withdrew from the mobile phone market! Out-of-print flagship gets the last update

South Korea's LG Electronics Co., Ltd. announced in April that due to the continuous loss of its mobile phone business, the company decided to reduce the scale of mobile phone production and sales, and completely stopped production at the end of July. LG finally gave up this market after 26 years of operating the mobile phone business.

However, it is surprising that LG's out-of-print mobile phone has received an Android 11 update.

According to Phone Arena, LG Wing got an Android 11 update.

Released in September 2020, LG announced the closure of the mobile phone business shortly after the LG Wing went public, and the Wing became an out-of-print model in the series.

However, LG promised to continue to provide software update support, and the phone has now been upgraded to Android 11, but it is likely to miss Android 12.
