Yesterday, a "Rights Protection Circular" from an industry planning and design association circulated online, which mentioned how to deal with the software rights protection notification letter from AutoCAD, and pointed out that Autodesk did not have the right to directly sell AutoCAD software in China, and would submit the forced transactions involved in it to the law enforcement agencies for supplementary investigation. Today, AutoDesk issued a statement in response to a "Rights Protection Circular" issued by a trade association, the full text of which is as follows:

Recently, we noticed that an industry association published inaccurate information about Autodesk Software (China) Co., Ltd., which was widely disseminated through social media and the Internet, misleading Autodesk users and the public, and seriously infringing on the business reputation of Autodesk Software (China) Co., Ltd.

Contrary to the information published by the association, Autodesk Software (China) Co., Ltd. enjoys a very broad scope of registered business in Chinese mainland, including but not limited to the sale of Autodesk family of software products and the provision of Autodesk technology and services to our customers. Typically, customers Chinese mainland can make a presentation to Autodesk, Inc. Autodesk Asia Pte, a subsidiary based in Singapore. Ltd., which procures Autodesk products directly in the form of import trade, or through autodesk product distributors Chinese mainland. We pride ourselves on having a dynamic and committed dealer channel in China and encourage our customers to work with their own reseller partners of choice.

We are disappointed to publish and disseminate false information about the conduct of Autodesk Software (China) Co., Ltd., as we have always adhered to the highest ethical standards and complied with all applicable laws to conduct our business. We will defend our legitimate rights and interests through appropriate and reasonable channels.
