It is reported that the new car is equipped with a DM-i plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L engine + electric motor, which will be launched with the 2022 Song MAX and is expected to be launched in the first half of 2022.

In terms of appearance, the new car continues bydder BYD's "Dragon Face" family design, the forward grille is more layered and three-dimensional, and the design of the new dragon whiskers is adopted on both sides, and the diamond dragon eye LED headlights are particularly spiritual.
It is worth mentioning that the new car has added an "upgraded roof", which is also one of the highlights of the new car, and the shape of the upgraded roof is very similar to the roof luggage compartment. In addition, the 2022 Song MAX DM-i model will be available in both 6-seater and 7-seater versions, with only the 6-seater version equipped with an "upgraded roof".
In terms of the tail, the new car still adopts the "Dragon Claw Trace" through-type taillight group, a chrome plated decoration runs through the two taillight groups, and the hidden exhaust makes its visual effect more concise, and the overall shape is more in line with the current trend.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the ordinary version of the 2022 Song MAX DM-i model are 4710/1810/1690mm, the wheelbase is 2785mm, and the body height of the "upgraded roof" version is increased to 1880mm.
Regarding the interior of the new car, the official did not announce it this time. According to the previous official release, the interior of the 2022 Song MAX DM-i model will also adopt a new design.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a DM-i plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine + electric motor, with a maximum power of 81 kW (110 hp) and a maximum power of 145 kW (197 hp) of the electric motor. Like the other models in the DM-i family, the new car will also be replaced with a lithium iron phosphate blade battery.
