Euro-American Showdown! The Italy vs Argentina friendlies will be played in London on 1 July next year

On 15 December, UEFA and UEFA announced that the match date between Italy and Argentina, the champions of the two continents, will be set for 1 July 2022 and will be held in London, but the specific stadium has not been determined.

The match is part of the deepening cooperation between UEFA and COFA. On 28 September, UEFA and COSPA jointly announced that the two sides will further strengthen their cooperation, including the initial organization of a match between Euro 2020 champions Italy and 2021 Copa America winner Argentina in June 2022.
