In the 114 days since his death, Beria, the number two person who had hoped to succeed him as leader, was suddenly executed. It is reported that because of a woman, the truth has not been made public so far, and such a major event as the execution of the number two person naturally caused a great sensation in the world.
Beria was a Georgian, born in 1899, who joined the revolution in 1919. In 1920, he successfully joined the Cheka in the Soviet Union, which later evolved into the KGB organization of the Soviet Union.
Therefore, Beria joined the intelligence work at a very early age and became a staff member of the intelligence agent. In 1933, Beria had saved Si Shi at the expense of his own life, so he was favored by Si Shi and entrusted with a heavy responsibility, and soon became the most trusted person around Si Shi.
After World War II, Beria became a marshal and became the number two person in the Soviet Union, but after 1941, Si shi no longer let him interfere in the work of national security.
After Si Shi's death, Beria was once considered to be the murderer of Si Shi, but there was still insufficient evidence. After Schein's death, everyone thought that Beria would become the new leader.
But at this time, he was arrested and soon executed. From later archives, no one signed Beria's materials, so Beria's death has been a mystery until now.
The first is that the execution was carried out after the trial.
On June 26, 1953, the Soviet Union held a conference and announced the arrest of Beria. There are many accounts of the scene of Beria's arrest, and Khrushchev once recalled that after Beria knew of his arrest, he put his hand on his purse and was jumped over and grabbed his hand.
After Beria was captured, the Soviet Union organized a trial team to try him. In the end, the supreme court of the Soviet Union convicted Beria of treason, rape, terrorist acts and other crimes, and was immediately executed by shooting.
The second argument is that execution followed by trial.
There is no written or video record of Beria's execution, and all information about Beria ended on December 23, 1953. Khrushchev and others said that Beria had already died long before he was tried, and that at the time of the trial he had only found someone who looked like him to replace him.
The third theory is that he was shot dead at his residence.
Although this statement is somewhat similar to the second one, it comes from his only son, Sergo. He was an expert specializing in nuclear bombs and later emigrated to Ukraine. He believes that his father was not arrested, but was shot while at home.
That day, after he left home for work, his friend called him to say there was a loud gunshot in his home. When he returned home, his home was guarded by soldiers and would not be allowed to enter. So he felt that his father had already been shot and killed, and that the trial was just an actor.
The most important reason why Beria died is that she was involved in the struggle for "power", and the power in his hands has overshadowed Malenkov. In order not to let Beria succeed him, he could only join hands with Khrushchev to get rid of Beria, but Khrushchev benefited from the whole struggle.
There is also a more bizarre theory that Beria was quickly executed because of a woman, and this woman was a spy sent by the United States, because this woman stole classified information from Beria, resulting in heavy losses to the Soviet Union, but because of insufficient historical data, it is impossible to distinguish between true and false, and because there is no conclusive evidence, the truth has not been made public so far.
