Musk was named Time Magazine's 2021 Person of the Year!

For nearly a century, Time magazine in the United States has selected the most influential individual or group of the year as the "Person of the Year". This year, Tesla CEO Musk received the title.

During the year, Musk saw Tesla become the world's most valuable automaker, with a market capitalization of more than a trillion dollars; at the same time, his rocket company SpaceX sent an all-civilian crew into space for the first time.

Time magazine called Musk a crazy hybrid of Edison (the inventor), Barnum (the father of modern PR), Carnegie (the entrepreneur), and Dr. Manhattan (the superhero and scientist in DC Comics).

Edward Felsenthal, editor-in-chief of Time magazine, said Musk has driven the boldest and most disruptive changes in society while igniting the enthusiasm of the younger generation of consumers for electric vehicles. "Musk has an extraordinary influence on Earth, and even beyond. No one can stand out for the breadth of the scope of the scope of involvement. Felsenthal said of Musk.
