GAC Group announced that the 7th meeting of the sixth board of directors of the company resolved to deliberate and pass the "Proposal on the A09 Model Project of GAC Passenger Cars". Agreed to the implementation of the A09 model project of its subsidiary, GAC Passenger Vehicle Co., Ltd. The total investment of the project is 686.42 million yuan, and the source of funds is considered by the company as a whole.

The chairman of the company is Zeng Qinghong. Mr. Zeng Qinghong: Born in July 1961, Chinese nationality, doctoral degree, senior engineer, currently the chairman of the board of directors and party secretary of the company, and concurrently serves as the chairman of the board of directors and the secretary of the party committee of GAC Industrial Group. He joined the Company in 1997 and served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company from June 2005 to October 2016, General Manager of the Company from June 2005 to November 2016, Director of the Executive Committee of the Company from June 2013 to November 2016, Vice Chairman of GAC Industrial Group from August 2008 to October 2016, and General Manager of GAC Industrial Group from July 2013 to October 2016. He has held his current position since October 2016.
