After being expelled, she went to Shanghai and continued to actively participate in foreign salvation movements, propagate advanced revolutionary ideas, strive to strengthen this patriotic contingent, and devote herself to contributing to the victory and peace of the motherland.
At the beginning, Yang Shangkun was the younger brother of her friend, and the two had met several times, but they did not think about marriage and love.
Later, they were officially linked together in a prison in Shanghai, when they were resolute in the face of the enemy's devastation, so they gradually drew closer to each other in the same revolutionary beliefs and in this experience of common suffering.
After that, their fate became stronger and stronger, and the two were organized to be sent to Moscow for further study, and supported each other and made progress together in a foreign country. What completely promoted the emotional heating of the two was that Li Bozhao, a female haojie, was once again expelled from school because of her fierce language.
At that time, she was far away from home, and her heart was somewhat troubled, and Yang Shangkun had been with her, gradually touching her heart. Soon after, the two married in love, that year Li Bozhao was only 18 years old, Yang Shangkun was 22 years old, and after returning to China, they fought together for the revolutionary cause for the rest of their lives.

For example, once Yang Shangkun was wounded in a heroic battle, Li Bozhao failed to take care of him, and he could only do it in a hurry. It was better than that they withstood all kinds of tests in their firm feelings for each other, and in the revolutionary tasks one after another, there were no dangers, and both of them waited until the time of the founding of New China.
However, after the war, the motherland also needed the hard work of a large number of talents, and after Li Bozhao and Yang Shangkun came down from the battlefield, they also made important contributions to the motherland with mutual support.
In 1985, 74-year-old Li Bozhao died of illness, Yang Shangkun was grief-stricken, very reluctant to his beloved wife, when his wife was sent to be cremated, he rarely got angry, lost his temper in front of everyone, blamed the staff for sending Li Bozhao to be cremated early, saying that her body was not cold, and he wanted to stay with his wife for a while.
