FF announces the third milestone in manufacturing: the start of infrastructure construction in the remaining production areas

IT House December 14 news, today, Faraday Future FF announced the start of infrastructure construction in the remaining production area of the Hanford, California plant, including body shop, powertrain shop, warehouse and final assembly shop.

IT House learned that FF said that the internal infrastructure construction project of the production halls is progressing smoothly, and key mechanical systems including electrical and plumbing systems are currently being installed in the factory. Subsequently, FF will soon begin to install manufacturing and final assembly related equipment.

Matt Tall, FF's Vice President of Manufacturing, said: "The successful completion of our third manufacturing milestone is an important feat for the company to enable the production of our next-generation high-performance electric vehicle product, the FF 91, to proceed as planned. ”

According to reports, since the listing in July, FF has completed three of the seven production and manufacturing milestones, including the completion of the installation of equipment to support the production and manufacture of pre-production vehicles, and obtained the final production and use qualification of the factory. Now that FF's third manufacturing milestone at the Hanford facility has been completed, the remaining four production milestones include:

Milestone 3 (Completed): Start of infrastructure construction in the remaining production areas, including body shops, powertrain shops, warehouses and final assembly shops;

Milestone 4: Mass manufacture of pre-production vehicles for final engineering verification and certification;

Milestone 5: Full mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems are operational to support the final installation of the equipment;

Milestone 6: Completion of all infrastructure construction and equipment installation in the main vehicle manufacturing area;

Final milestone: SOP achieved in summer 2022.
