Super Robot Wars series producer Takanobu Terada has announced that he has left Bandai Namco

Takanobu Terada announced the news in a recent live broadcast, saying that he had actually left the company in August last year, and that he would be involved in the production of the aircraft combat series as a consultant in the future.

Terada said he had been considering leaving, discussing the issue with Bandai Namco Entertainment, which wanted him to continue working on the Super Robot Wars 30 series.

Terada has been part of the aircraft warfare team since 1994 and has been involved in the commissioning of the fourth game in the series, Super Robot Wars EX. The first machine war game he made was the 1995 GB game Super Robot Wars G, which later became the main producer of the wargame RPG series. During his time at Bandai Namco, he not only produced dozens of Super Robot Wars game works, but also produced multiple scenes, scripts and directorial works, and was the mainstay of the aircraft combat series.

In Terada's statement, he mentioned that he will be involved in the creation of game stories in the future, and leaving is conducive to the focus of creation, without caring about the details of game production. In addition, Terada added with a smile that the announcement of the departure was both tense and stiff, and after the announcement, it seemed that something had been in his chest, and now it was much easier.

Hopefully, this arrangement will be useful for fans of Takanobu Terada, Bandai Namco, and Super Robot Wars.
