Recently, there have been a number of imported cases on flights from Thailand to China. After investigation, the relevant personnel did not strictly implement the closed-loop isolation at home, and after the first test 7 days before boarding, they still had dinner with friends and colleagues or participated in the farewell party held by customers, resulting in a confirmed infection with new crown pneumonia after returning home, most of which were temporary business travelers from China to Thailand, and the relevant behavior caused greater harm to their own and others' health and safety.
The Chinese Embassy in Thailand once again solemnly reminds the vast number of compatriots in Thailand that although the situation of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Thailand has eased, compatriots in Thailand must remember not to take it lightly, and should continue to strengthen personal protection and adhere to "non-essential and non-travel". Compatriots who plan to return to China should strictly isolate at home after completing the first test 7 days before boarding, implement closed-loop management, avoid non-essential outings, do not participate in gatherings, dinners and other gathering activities, and eliminate going to crowded and relatively closed places to minimize the risk of post-test infection.
In order to effectively do a good job in closed-loop management before boarding, temporary business travelers from Chinese-funded enterprises (including central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises) who return to Thailand must be isolated for observation and closed-loop management 7 days before boarding, and have no contact with the outside world. The relevant enterprises must issue quarantine certificates (see attachments) and affix the official seal of the enterprise to the returnees, and upload them when applying for a health code. Quarantine requirements remain unchanged for 21 days before migrant workers from Chinese-funded enterprises in Thailand board the aircraft.
This Notice requires formal implementation from December 18, 2021 (inclusive).
