Covering an area of 20 square meters, the mother and baby room is equipped with a baby cot with safety buckles, a wash stand, a water dispenser, and even a heating and cooling air conditioner, a mother and baby product vending machine, and an alarm button. The hospital has set up breastfeeding rooms in four areas, including pediatric outpatient clinics, pediatric protection departments, neonatology and obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinics with a large flow of mothers and infants, but because these nursing rooms are less than 10 square meters and have no hot and cold water, they cannot better meet the needs of mothers and babies.
"On the basis of the nursing room, we have built a new standard and comfortable mother and baby room according to the requirements of the standard configuration standards of the creation of literature and the mother and baby room facilities." Zhou Jie, vice president of Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital and director of the Chancheng District Maternal and Child Health Care Institute, said that in addition to meeting the basic configuration of national standards, the mother and baby room has also reached a high standard of comfort.
He revealed that the women's and children's center building that the hospital will soon be put into use in early 2022 will set up 1 to 2 higher-configuration mother and baby rooms on each floor, so that women and children can get a safer and more comfortable experience here.
